Activities Program

We are happy to offer a number of complimentary activities to Open Source Leadership Summit 2018 attendees!  Attendees are welcome to participate in one activity that best suits their travel schedule.  You are also welcome to bring your family members on your selected activity.

MONDAY MARCH 5, 2018

All activities are scheduled between 2:00pm-5:00pm.

Tour & Tasting at Cline Cellars (2 hours)

Cline Cellars invites you to explore our historic 350-acre estate and enjoy a Sonoma experience complete with breathtaking landscapes, California history at the Mission Museum, and a wonderful team of people who look forward to your visit. Our proprietors, Fred and Nancy Cline, were pioneers of planting of Rhone varietals such as Syrah, Viognier and Marsanne-Roussanne.  Tour and tasting participants will enjoy a 15% off discount on wine and merchandise.  Must be 21 or older to participate.

Private Hike – Jack London State Park Hill (2.5 hours, 3-4 miles hike)

This private hike experience includes transportation to Jack London State Park, hike and experience the rich history through this scenic trail. Approximate distance is 3-4 miles walking.  This activity is open to those 10 years old or older and in good physical condition.

Taste of Sonoma Cheese, Chocolate & Wine Walking Tour  (2.5 hours, 2 mile walk)

The walking tour includes transportation with visits to Vallejo’s home, Vella Cheese, Sonoma barracks, Roche Winery & Wine Country Chocolates (all located within Sonoma Plaza).  The walking tour is open to all ages; however you must be 21 or older to participate in the wine tasting portion.

Guided Bike Tour & Cheese Tasting (2.5 hours)

Attendees will depart from the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa front drive for a guided ride through historic Sonoma, along country roads lined with vineyards. We will stop for photos in a vineyard and a little history of Sonoma and Grape Growing in our region.  During this tour we will also participate in a tasting/tour at Vella, a family owned Cheese factory since 1931. This activity is open to those 12 years old or older and in good physical condition

FRIDAY MARCH 9, 2018

All activities are scheduled from 9:00am-12:00pm or 11:00am-2:00pm.

Private Hike – Jack London State Park Hill  – (Starts at 9:00am, 2.5 hours, 3-4 miles hike)

Golf at Sonoma Golf Club

The following tee-times have been reserved for teams of 4 or 4 single golfers:
Monday, March 5: 2:00p, 2:10p and 2:20p – must book by Thursday, March 1 for discount
Friday, March: 9:00a, 9:10a, and  9:50a – must book by Monday, March 5 for discount
