This year’s event will take place at the Congress Center Basel. The Congress Center Basel covers a larger area than any other congress venue in Switzerland. The Congress Center Basel provides an exhibit space with natural light and is committed to many different facets of environmental compatibility and energy efficiency.

Airport Information

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is approximately 15 minutes from Congress Center Basel by car. Due to its international status, EuroAirport has three IATA airport codes: BSL (Basel) is the Swiss code, MLH (Mulhouse) is the French code and EAP (EuroAirport) is the neutral code.

Although the airport actually sits on French territory, it is jointly operated by Switzerland and France.

The A35 (on the French side) motorway links up with the airport and Switzerland’s bus service Line 50 to Basel connects the Swiss part of the airport with the main train station (Bahnhof SBB) in Basel.

Taxi

If you’re taking a taxi from the airport to your hotel, use one of the taxi stands located on Level 2. Approximate cost to Basel city center is 50 CHF.

Public Transportation

From the airport to Congress Center Basel via the Swiss or French railway station, take tram 1 or 2 to reach Basel Exhibition in 10 minutes.

Visitors to Basel can travel throughout the city for free! You will receive a personal guest card upon arrival at your hotel. The card gives you access to free use of public transportation.

Parkhaus Messe Basel is a 24-hour multi-level car park connected to Congress Center Basel with space for 1200 vehicles at Exhibition Square. From the car park, follow the signs directing you to the Congress Center Basel.
