This course will introduce you to the concepts and projects which transform networking as we know it. You will learn fundamentals of Software-Defined Networking (SDN) including its motivation, architecture, abstractions and basic building blocks.
You will get an overview of the OpenDaylight (SDN controller) project, the ONOS (SDN controller) project as well as the OPNFV (Open Platform for Network Function Virtualization) project and learn more about their architecture, governance and roadmap. You will also get a chance to go hands-on and get started with OpenDaylight.
