Niibe Ytaka, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and TechnologyHis day-job is a researcher at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Japan. His week-end job is the chairman of the Free Software Initiative of Japan (FSIJ). His experiences for Free Software includes, developer of GNU Emacs in 1991, maintainer of the PLIP driver of Linux in 1993-1999, the founder of GNU/Linux for SuperH Project in 1999 (Linux, GNU Toolchain, and distribution), developer of Debian GNU/Linux since 2005. While he maintains more than 30 Debian packages, he enjoys development around embedded GNU/Linux, using KUROBOX/Pro these days. Currently, he develops "FSIJ USB Token" with Atmel AVR. It is a USB Token by Free Software which will hold GPG/PGP keys. He enjoys assembly programming of Atmel AVR for calculation of Montgomery reduction. He has experiences of giving talks at Linux Kongress 2000, LinuxTag 2004, 2005, and 2007 in Germany, Asia Open Source Symposium 2003, 2007 in Thailand, International GPLv3 Conference(s) in 2006, and Conference on "Free Software, Free Society" at India in 2008.Presentation(s) FSIJ USB Token for GnuPG |
