I am David Soria Parra, I am a Member of Technical Staff at Anthropic. I have a rich history in developing and maintaining open source software. I’ve actively contributed to the PHP programming language as a core developer and was responsible for the official releases of PHP 5.4 and PHP 5.5. I actively contributed to Git and Mercurial and developed key features within Mercurial such as bookmarks, pager, shelving and more. Between 2013 and 2017 I was a software engineer at Facebook’s developer infrastructure team. From 2017 I managed increasingly larger teams and organisation within Facebook, with a particular focus on extending our internal tools to new development areas such as VR, AR and ASIC development. In 2021, I moved to London where I lead an organisation of 45+ people across multiple managers, focusing Static Analysis and Simulation-based Testing teams. In 2023 I was an enterpreneur in residence at Sutter Hill Ventures in London. I joined Anthropic in April 2024. I am the co-creator of the Model Context Protocol.

Dex is CEO and co-founder at HumanLayer, building an agentic IDE and collaboration platform that helps teams solve hard problems in complex codebases without devolving into slop. Dex coined the term context engineering in April 2025, has keynoted two AI Engineer conferences, and his practical, no-hype talks on agentic coding have over 1 million views on YouTube. Dex built lunar exploration tooling for NASA researchers in high school, and spent 10+ years in the Kubernetes/Infra space before getting into AI.

Maarten Grootendorst is a Member of Technical Staff at Google DeepMind. He holds master’s degrees in organizational psychology, clinical psychology, and data science, which he leverages to communicate complex machine learning concepts to a wide audience. With his popular blogs, he has reached millions of readers by explaining the fundamentals of artificial intelligence—often from a psychological point of view. He is the author and maintainer of several open source packages that rely on the strength of large language models, such as BERTopic, PolyFuzz, and KeyBERT. His packages are downloaded millions of times and used by data professionals and organizations worldwide. Maarten is the co-author of the bestselling “Hands-On Large Language Models” book.

Clare Liguori is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at AWS, focusing on developer tooling and agentic AI. She primarily works on Kiro and Strands Agents SDK. She is also a core maintainer of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) specification. Over 12+ years at Amazon, she has worked on AWS Proton, Amazon ECS, the AWS Code Suite, and open source projects including AWS CDK, Spinnaker, and Backstage. Before Amazon, she was a software engineer at Motorola Solutions in the WiFi space. She holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Shaun works on Open Source Agents and MCP at Hugging Face, and is an MCP Maintainer and Community Moderator. He is also the author of `fast-agent` – a coding agent, toolbox and reference platform for MCP and one of the few clients with comprehensive protocol support and diagnostic capabilities.

Sheng Liang is cofounder and CEO of Obot.ai. Previously, Sheng founded and served as CEO of successful open source software companies, including Rancher Labs and Cloud.com, and served in executive roles at SUSE and Citrix. He started as an engineer at Sun Microsystems, where he worked on the Java Virtual Machine. Sheng has a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Yale University.

Idit Levine is the founder and CEO of Solo.io, where she is dedicated to simplifying agentic AI and empowering organizations to embrace cloud-native technologies. With a strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure, Idit is passionate about transforming complex challenges into accessible, practical solutions for teams of all sizes by leveraging the power of innovative open-source technologies.

RL Nabors has spent over a decade making hard technology approachable, from building award-winning dev portals, standards, and education on teams like React and MDN to pushing the web forward working with browsers. Today, they’re building Mima.social, a user-first app that makes the social web safe, private, and fun again.

Marlene is a Senior Developer Advocate at Microsoft and GitHub focusing on Python and AI. She is a computer scientist, keynote speaker and explorer. Marlene is the current co-chair of the Association for Computing Machinery(ACM) practitioner board, was the previous vice chair of the Python Software Foundation and led the first PyCon Africa.

Fred is a passionate opinionated builder. He’s been in the infrastructure space, and in particular in serverless technologies.

He built Lift and Revant to help people ship infrastructure and reduce their newly generated cost…

He’s now building with Alpic the missing infrastructure layer for the new agentic internet where AI consume services instead of human. He’s working full time on Skybridge, a new open-source framework to build ChatGPT and MCP Apps.

Mazin Gilbert is the Executive Director of the Agentic AI Foundation, part of the Linux Foundation. An IEEE Fellow with a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and a Wharton MBA, Mazin brings 25+ years of experience driving AI innovation from research to global-scale deployment. His career spans senior leadership at Google as Director of Engineering for Google Distributed Cloud AI/ML, and at AT&T as VP of Network Analytics and Automation. Mazin has built production-grade GenAI, machine learning, and agentic AI platforms at scale. He co-founded open-source landmarks including ONAP, Akraino, and Acumos, and helped found the LF Networking, LF Edge, and LF AI. He has served on the boards of the Open Network Foundation, NSF MLWINS, and the International Computer Science Institute at Berkeley. Mazin holds 260+ U.S. patents, has authored 100+ research papers, and became an IEEE Fellow in 2012 for pioneering contributions to speech processing.

Keith Babo is the Chief Product Officer at Solo.io, where he leads product strategy and execution, enabling enterprises to build and scale the next generation of cloud-native and agentic infrastructure for AI-driven applications. Prior to Solo.io, Keith held leadership roles in product management and engineering at Red Hat, Sun Microsystems, and Intel Corporation.

Manik Surtani is the co-founder and CTO of the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF.io). A mission-driven technologist and longtime advocate of open source, he previously served as Head of Open Source at Block and VP of Engineering for Platform and Cloud at Cash App, and played a foundational role in the birth of gRPC. He founded Infinispan.org, has been a Sequoia Scout, Red Hat veteran, angel investor, and startup advisor, and is a published author and frequent speaker on AI, infrastructure, and open collaboration.
