Priyanka is the General Manager of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. She was previously the director of Cloud Native Alliances at GitLab Inc., where she built the developer evangelism team that participates regularly in the cloud native community.
Priyanka also serves as an advisor at Heavybit Industries, an accelerator for developer products. She has contributed to several CNCF projects such as Jaeger and Vitess and was a founding team member of the OpenTracing standard. In addition, Priyanka is a leading speaker and subject matter expert on cloud native and observability and has spoken about Kubernetes, Prometheus, Jaeger, OpenTracing, Envoy, Vitess, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and more. She was a startup founder featured at TechCrunch Disrupt and started her career at Google.

Emily Fox is a DevOps enthusiast, security unicorn, and advocate for Women in Technology. She promotes the cross-pollination of development and security practices. She has worked in security for over 12 years to drive a cultural change where security is unobstructive, natural, and accessible to everyone. Her technical interests include containerization, least privilege, automation, and promoting women in technology. She holds a BS in Information Systems and an MS in cybersecurity. A member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation’s (CNCF) Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) and co-chair for KubeCon+CloudNativeCon China 2021, Europe 2022, and North America 2022, she is involved in a variety of open source communities.

Matt Jarvis is a Senior Developer Advocate at Snyk. Matt has spent more than 15 years building products and services around open source software, on everything from embedded devices to large scale distributed systems. Most recently he has been focused on the open cloud infrastructure space, and in emerging patterns for cloud native applications. Matt is a regular speaker at conferences across the world, including Open Infrastructure Summit, FOSDEM and All Things Open, a past winner of the OpenStack Outstanding Community Contributor award, and in 2021 was named one of the Top 100 influencers in Open Technologies in the UK. Matt is also a board director of OpenUK, and the founder of Cloud Native Manchester and Cloud Natives UK.

Loris (he/him) is the Chief Technology Officer & Founder of Sysdig. He is also the creator of the popular open source troubleshooting tool, sysdig, and the open source container security tool Falco. He is the co-author of a new book, Practical Cloud Native Security with Falco. Prior to founding Sysdig, Loris co-created Wireshark, the open source network analyzer, which today has 20+ million users. Loris holds a PhD in computer engineering from Politecnico di Torino.

My background and core competence is systems software engineering, but I love the whole process of building products. I’ve been in startups that have succeeded and others that have failed. I enjoy writing code, and understanding how other people will use it.
I’m Chief Open Source Officer with eBPF pioneers Isovalent, creators of the Cilium project, which provides cloud native networking, observability and security. Prior to that I was VP Open Source Engineering with security specialists Aqua Security. I’m chair of the CNCF’s Technical Oversight Committee, and I co-chaired the KubeCon / CloudNativeCon 2018 events in Copenhagen, Shanghai and Seattle. I’m also an Ambassador for Open UK.

Zack Butcher is a Tetrate founding engineer and co-author of Istio Up and Running (O’Reilly, 2019). One of the earliest engineers on Istio, Zack worked on its policy, telemetry, and networking. He helped design and implement the core abstractions Istio presents to users. Zack is also the co-author of NIST SP 800-204B, a standard for microservices security.

Andrés Vega is VP of Operations, North America at ControlPlane focused on helping global banks develop new online capabilities while meeting compliance objectives with a zero trust, continuous security approach. Previously, Andres was the Head of Product Management for Security, Compliance, and Privacy engineering at VMware. He is also an open source maintainer, contributor, and author. Throughout his career, his focus has been on the intersection of security, compliance, privacy, and software delivery with open source projects like the Linux Kernel, Linux Containers, container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, and SPIFFE for cryptographically-verifiable identities. He participates actively in the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) as Technical Leader in the Security Technical Advisory Group (TAG Security).

Andrew is Founder and CEO of https://control-plane.io, CISO at OpenUK, and co-chair of the CNCF’s Technical Advisory Group for Security. He has an incisive security engineering ethos gained building and destroying high-traffic web applications. Proficient in secure systems development, testing, and operations, he is co-author of Hacking Kubernetes (O’Reilly Media, 2022), and has published whitepapers and training material for the Linux Foundation and SANS.

Brandon loves designing and implementing computer systems (with a focus on Security, Operating Systems, and Distributed/Parallel Systems). Brandon is a Co-chair of the CNCF Security TAG, and as a part of Google’s Open Source Security Team, he works on improving the security of the Open Source ecosystem. Previously at IBM Research, Brandon worked on various security areas such as: Container content protection via encryption and image signing, identity, and kernel attack surface reduction.

Brian has served most recently as General Manager and CTO of the Open Source Security Foundation (OpenSSF), has served as Executive Director of Hyperledger, and formerly as CTO of the World Economic Forum. He currently serves on the boards of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) since 2013, the Mozilla Foundation since 2003, and the Filecoin Foundation since 2021.
