Bailey Hayes is a Director at Cosmonic. She believes the future is in distributed systems and WebAssembly (Wasm). Her daily activities include wrangling distributed apps, finding new tools for better devx, and discovering the best food for any given location. She is a lifetime NC native and lives with her partner and two high-energy dogs in Cary, NC.

Divya is a Principal Technology Advocate at SUSE, advocating for and contributing to its projects. She is a Kubernetes documentation maintainer and a co-chair for the SIG Community under the Bytecode Alliance. As one of the KCNA exam creators and a lead for the Asian chapter of the CHAOSS Project, she is invested in making technical communities & technologies more accessible & inclusive.

Jonathan Beri is the founder and CEO of Golioth, a straightforward commercial IoT development platform built for scale. Jonathan has spent more than a decade building IoT solutions at companies like Google, Nest, Particle & WeWork. If you really want to get him going, ask him how he would build a real holodeck.

Justin is a senior engineer and security lead at Docker. He is a maintainer of the Notary project, and a member of the CNCF TOC and SIG Security. He has been working in container security for five years.

Liam lives at the intersection of open source and enterprise and has contributed to dozens of major open-source platforms and standards. A serial entrepreneur, he has built and scaled companies around Bro/Zeek, Kubernetes, OS Query, CNCF Cloud Custodian and, today, WebAssembly (Wasm). He is co-founder of CNCF wasmCloud, CEO of Cosmonic, and currently serves as both co-chair of Wasmcon and Cloud Native WasmDay.

I am the founder and maintainer of CNCF’s WasmEdge project and the author of 5 books on software engineering. I have started and exited several companies around open source project. I have a phd from the university of Texas at Austin.

Michelle Dhanani is a Principal Software Engineer at Fermyon. Currently, amongst many other things, Michelle contributes to Spin, SpinKube, and Fermyon Cloud. While at Microsoft, Michelle was a core maintainer of Open Service Mesh and Service Mesh Interface. She has also been a core maintainer for projects like Helm and Draft. In addition to writing software, Michelle has given many talks, and also served on the CNCF Governing Board and Technical Oversight Committee. Michelle lives in Atlanta, GA.

Oscar is a co-author of the Grain programming language and Principal Engineer at F5 NGINX.

Ralph Squillace is a Principal Program Manager for Microsoft, helping the team supporting Helm, Draft, Brigade, CNAB, and the Visual Studio Code Kubernetes extension in the Cloud Compute Team. He’s worked in distributed computing for far too many years, and it shows. He’s presented and visited customers around the world, including at KubeCon 2018 in Copenhagen.

Shivay Lamba is a software developer specializing in DevOps, Machine Learning and Full Stack Development.

He is an Open Source Enthusiast and has been part of various programs like Google Code In and Google Summer of Code as a Mentor and has also been a MLH Fellow. He is actively involved in community work as well. He is a TensorflowJS SIG member, Mentor in OpenMined and CNCF Service Mesh Community, SODA Foundation and has given talks at various conferences like Github Satellite, Voice Global, Fossasia Tech Summit, TensorflowJS Show & Tell.

I work on infrastructure tools that enable innovation. I specialize in Kubernetes, Terraform, public clouds, and distributed systems. You can also find me buried deep in a book, preparing a technical talk, or running with my partner, Hannabeth, and our two dogs
