Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. In a previous life, he bootstrapped a consulting company, made many mistakes, lead and hacked on many eclipse.org and Linux related projects

Christine is the CEO/cofounder of Honeycomb, an observability tool for teams who build and manage software that matters.

She cares deeply about bridging the gap between devs and ops with technological and cultural improvements—and thinks that observability is really just a way to do in production what software engineers have done forever: check whether the expected behavior is actually happening, and investigate when something weird is happening.

Vijay Samuel works with eBay’s Reliability Engineering as its architect. During his time at eBay Vijay has transformed eBay’s observability platform into a cloud native offering that is primarily built on top of open source technologies. He loves to code in Go and play video games.

A tech enthusiast who thrives on steering projects from their initial spark to successful fruition, Rob Koch is Principal at Slalom Build, AWS Hero, and Co-chair of the CNCF Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group. His expertise in architecting event-driven systems is firmly rooted in the belief that data should be harnessed in real time. Rob relishes the challenge of examining existing systems and mapping the journey towards an event-driven architecture.

At Google my mission is to make Kubernetes and GKE the best place to run workloads, especially accelerated AI/ML workloads!

Jiaxin works at ByteDance Infrastructure Lab, focusing on serverless and AI infrastructure. He is also a co-chair of Kubernetes WG-Serving, Jiaxin drives innovations and contributes to the future of scalable AI systems.

Eddie Knight is a Software and Cloud Engineer with a background in banking technology. When he isn’t playing with his 2-year-old son, he combines his passion and job duties by working to improve the security of open source software.

Eddie helps lead CNCF’s Security Technical Advisory Group, the FINOS Technical Oversight Committee, the OpenSSF Security Baseline, and the FINOS Common Cloud Controls project.

Michael Lieberman is co-founder and CTO of Kusari where he helps build transparency and security in the software supply chain. Michael is an active member of the open-source community, co-creating the GUAC and FRSCA projects and co-leading the CNCF’s Secure Software Factory Reference Architecture whitepaper. He is an elected member of the OpenSSF Governing Board and Technical Advisory Council along with CNCF TAG Security Lead and an SLSA steering committee member.

Carolina Lindqvist is a System Specialist at the EPFL SCITAS department for Scientific Computing and High Performance Computing (HPC). She works with Kubernetes infrastructure for scientific use cases. Before joining SCITAS, Carolina worked at the Blue Brain Project, startups and at CERN. In her free time she enjoys games (board games, video games, RPGs…) and rope climbing.

Joseph is a Principal Product Manager at Adobe Inc. with the Developer Productivity team for over six years. He leads the development of Adobe’s cloud-native platform, leveraging his decade-long end user expertise in Kubernetes. Currently serving as one of the CNCF End User Technical Advisory Board members, he shares his strategic insights and learnings with the community and project teams. Joseph is also a member of Kubernetes SIG-Release, serving as a Release Manager Associate, contributing to five release teams, and has been an emeritus advisor. Passionate about open-source and its impact on his career, he is dedicated to mentoring those just starting in the field.

Faseela is a cloud-native developer at Ericsson Software Technology, Istio Service Mesh maintainer and a twice-elected member of the Istio Steering Committee, driving its Security, Test and Release, and Documentation functions. She is a CNCF Ambassador, LFX Mentor, contributor to the CNCF “ICA – Istio Certified Associate” examination, and the winner of the prestigious CNCF “Chop Wood Carry Water” award, 2023. She is also the co-author of the CNCF Istio Children’s illustrated book – “Izzy saves the Birthday”. She is one of the organizers of Cloud Native Aachen – the official CNCF Chapter of Aachen, Germany. Faseela is a key member driving the 5G transformation of Ericsson, designing Cloud Native Network Functions and bridging the gap between telco and opensource. Her association with opensource starts with OpenDaylight, one of the Linux Foundation’s earliest collaborative opensource projects, where she has served in the Technical Steering Committee for many years. Early in her career, she has served as a maintainer in the Linux Foundation Infrastructure, enabling the required tooling for several LF projects. She was also actively involved in shaping some of the SDN enabler standards like OpenFlow, and Network Service Header (NSH) in Service Chaining, EVPN and BGP for Telco world. In the recent years, Faseela has served as the event co-chair for both the IstioDays co-located with KubeCon in 2023 and has been a Program Committee member at several KubeCons.

Kasper is a Developer Relations Engineer at Dash0, where he is thrilled to step into the observability space. He looks forward to promoting open standards with OpenTelemetry and Perses, helping teams gain deeper insights into their systems. Previously, Kasper served as a Staff Platform Engineer at Lunar.

He is a CNCF Ambassador, Kubestronaut, Community Group Organizer, KCD Organizer, and Co-founder of the Nordic meetup alliance, Cloud Native Nordics. Kasper is passionate about open source, community building, and all things Cloud Native—whether it’s diving deep into Kubernetes or integrating projects to craft exceptional developer experiences.

Kasper has been an active contributor to the CNCF community almost since its inception. One of his early contributions was his master’s thesis, “KubeCloud – A Small-Scale Cloud Computing Environment,” which explored how universities could use small-scale cloud environments, built with Raspberry Pis running Kubernetes, to educate on the emerging paradigm of Cloud Native computing.

Corentin Debains is a software engineer at Google working on the GKE Fleet (multicluster platform). He is an active member of Kubernetes’ special interest group sig-multicluster.

Laura Lorenz is a software engineer at Google. She is an active member of Kubernetes’ upstream focused on SIG-Multicluster, SIG-Node, and releases.

Working within the office of the Chief Product Officer, Andy collaborates across the Azure organization, as well as with customers, partners, and the open source community to enable the next generation of AI-enabled cloud-native applications in Azure. He joined Microsoft through the acquisition of Kinvolk, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer and led cloud-native projects like Flatcar Container Linux. Before Kinvolk, he co-founded Tigera and Calico, the cloud-native networking and network security project. Andy holds master’s degrees in business, software engineering, philosophy, and mathematics from the universities of Berkeley, Columbia, Oxford, and Stirling.

Holly Cummins is a Senior Principal Software Engineer on the Red Hat Quarkus team. Before joining Red Hat, Holly was a long time IBMer, in a range of roles from cloud consultant, full-stack javascript developer, WebSphere Liberty devops architect, JVM performance engineer, to innovation leader. Vincent Caldeira, CTO of Red Hat in APAC, is responsible for strategic partnerships and technology strategy. Named a top CTO in APAC in 2023, he has 20+ years in IT, excelling in technology transformation in finance. An authority in open source, cloud computing, and digital transformation, Vincent frequently speaks on data analytics, AI/ML, and IT sustainability. He is a Board Member of OS-Climate, a member of the GSF Green AI Committee and FINOS Technical Oversight Committee.

Sudha Raghavan is a senior vice president at Oracle, responsible for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) developer platform. In her role, she oversees the engineering organization for OCI’s cloud-native services, which are used by tens of thousands of developers globally. With over 20 years of experience in software engineering, Sudha serves as a board member of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and is a founding committee member of the Seattle chapter of the Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) program. Prior to her time at Oracle, she worked at Microsoft for 14 years in various roles.

Idit Levine is the founder and CEO of Solo.io, a company that creates open-source tools to assist enterprises in adopting and extending innovative cloud-native technologies while modernizing their existing IT investments. Solo.io is a top contributor to CNCF projects such as Envoy Proxy, Istio Service Mesh, and Cilium CNI. Their portfolio of open-source products includes Gloo Gateway, an Envoy-based gateway, and Gloo Mesh, an Istio distribution for service mesh.

Keith Babo leads the product team at Solo.io covering the full range of application networking technologies required to build modern, cloud-native application architectures. Prior to joining Solo.io, Keith held product management and engineering leadership positions at Red Hat, Sun Microsystems, and Intel Corporation.

Jakub Suchy is the Director of Solutions Engineering at HAProxy Technologies, where he designs and prototypes solutions for application delivery and load balancing infrastructure. With his background in Linux infrastructure and Open Source Applications, he specializes in developing innovative approaches to modern application delivery challenges, focusing on micro-services architecture and high-availability systems

Randy Bias is a pioneering advocate for cloud, DevOps, and open source technology, recognized for driving successful open sourcing efforts in enterprises of all sizes and significantly influencing the industry’s transition from proprietary models. He has played a critical role in shaping and leading the OpenStack project, as well as revitalizing Juniper’s Contrail/OpenContrail (now OpenSDN) initiative. Randy founded and leads the Mirantis Open Source Program Office (OSPO) where he leverages open source expertise to help Mirantis become a disruptive force in cloud and autonomous computing.

Carlo was born in Verbania, Italy, in 1992. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2015, followed by a Master’s degree in Physics of Complex Systems in 2017 from the University of Turin. Carlo also spent some time at the ISI Data Science Institute in Turin, where he developed an AI and Quantum Computing-based framework for Natural Language Processing tasks.

In 2018, Carlo began working at Moviri in Milan as a Data Scientist, becoming the Senior Data Scientist in 2020, Head of Modelling and AI activities.
In 2021, he assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer at Peptone, overseeing the technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals, while discovering and implementing new technologies that provide a competitive advantage.

Carlo is keen on revolutionising how Physical-Mathematical modelling, AI, and Quantum Computing can deliver scalable business solutions for the pharma and biotech industries.

After obtaining a master degree in computer engineering at Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on hybrid recommendation systems in 2011, Fabio started his career at Moviri as an application performance and data center capacity planning consultant. In 2014 he moved to Boston to help expand Moviri’s presence in the United States.
Fabio moved back to Italy in 2019, were he joined Empatica, an MIT spin-off focused on wearable devices for monitoring patients with neurological conditions, where he was instrumental in modernising and securing the IT infrastructure, and optimising the data processing pipeline.

In 2020 he joined Sysdig, a DevSecOps startup, where he collaborated with multiple software development teams to redesign critical parts of the product in order to massively increase performance and scalability. He also helped expanding the European site reliability engineering team and kickstarting a team in APAC.

I am a DevOps specialist with over fifteen years’ experience in a variety of commercial and corporate environments, including enterprise software development, retail, public sector and financial services.

I bring a strong focus on adding business value through the promotion of DevOps culture, practices and technologies: Continuous Integration and Delivery, Cloud Infrastructure, automation, scripting, and business process optimization.

Vasu is Vice President and Chief Architect on topics concerning the Cloud Native Strategy at SAP. Having always been accused of having his head in the clouds, he went on to make it his career. In his current role, he works with several cross-product initiatives to foster the cloud native mindset across engineering teams. In spite of having a very brown thumb, he went green by reaching into the bountiful cloud native and open source ecosystem and was instrumental in establishing Kubernetes (with Project Gardener) as the modern foundation at SAP. As a champion of cloud native development, advocating both inner and open source technologies, he aims to make innovation simpler for both SAP and its customers. Vasu holds a degree in Physics and Computer Science from the University of Osnabrück but refuses to be tied down to any geography. He prefers it in the cloud.

Greg Kroah-Hartman is among a distinguished group of software developers who maintain Linux at the kernel level. In his role as a Linux Foundation Fellow, he continues his work as the maintainer for the Linux stable kernel branch and a variety of subsystems while working in a fully neutral environment. He also works closely with Linux Foundation members and projects, and on key initiatives to advance Linux.

Greg created and maintains the Linux Driver Project. He is also currently the maintainer for the Linux stable kernel branch and a variety of different subsystems that include USB, staging, driver core, tty, and sysfs, among others. Most recently, he was a Fellow at SUSE.

Greg is an adviser to Oregon State University’s Open Source Lab and a member of The Linux Foundation’s Technical Advisory Board. He has delivered a variety of keynote addresses at developer and industry events, and has authored two books covering Linux device drivers and Linux kernel development.

Tyson is responsible for all infrastructure – spanning compute, data, experimentation, machine learning, mobile, network, and storage; developer and design tooling; Spotify’s shared business and financial IT platforms; and cybersecurity. He is the executive behind Spotify’s internal developer portal, Backstage. Tyson also serves as the lead for the technology disciplines across all of Spotify and chairs the technology leadership community, ensuring that Spotify has an evolving tech strategy and can serve its over 675 million users and 10 million creators.

Liz Rice is Chief Open Source Officer at Isovalent, now part of Cisco. Currently on the boards of the CNCF and OpenUK, she was chair of the CNCF’s Technical Oversight Committee 2019-2022, and Co-Chair of KubeCon + CloudNativeCon in 2018. She is an award-winning speaker, and the author of O’Reilly books on “”Container Security”” and “”Learning eBPF””.

Tom, with nearly 20 years of experience in building and operating infrastructure and software within the Telco industry, is passionate about using modern technology and operating practices to deliver real business value. Currently, at Vodafone, he is responsible for defining, communicating and delivering the Telco Cloud and Kubernetes strategy and architecture, publishing cloud native guidance, and advocating cloud native principles across Vodafone.

Philippe is a seasoned tech executive and 2021 Trailblazer award-winning CTO with over 25 years of experience in connecting technology to business, driving impactful change in both large enterprises and start-ups. Having served as CTO three times in 12 years, including for Orange Business, he is currently VP of Software Engineering for Orange. Philippe is responsible for transforming the telco to techco journey and scouting for disruptive technologies and partners. He brings advisory to CxOs and executives in their digital transformation journey, thanks to a unique 360° view of technology, culture, and innovation. Philippe is also an advisor to investment funds, a board advisor for start-ups in tech, and a thought leader in the tech ecosystem. Passionate about open source, he is a board advisor for the Linux Foundation Europe, and he advocates for technology and transformation through keynotes, his presence on social networks, and community involvement such as Tech.Rocks.

Joel is a System Architect currently in a team that builds the cloud native 5G core at Swisscom. He is experienced in infrastructure automation, software defined networking and highly available databases and passionate about automation. He is CK* certified and has written several CRD/Operator based Kubernetes extensions. Outside the tech sphere he is an active musician both live and in the studio.

Ricardo leads the Platform Infrastructure team at CERN with a strong focus on cloud native deployments and machine learning. He has led for several years the internal effort to transition services and workloads to use cloud native technologies, as well as dissemination and training efforts. Ricardo got CERN to join the CNCF and is a lead of the CNCF Research User Group. Prior to this work Ricardo helped develop the grid computing infrastructure serving the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
