Kick off the start of OSS with an exciting Zumba activity! Zumba combines a high-energy cardiovascular workout with Latin music into a fun, calorie burning experience. It incorporates many dance styles including merengue, salsa, chacha, mambo, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dancing, flamenco and more. The best part about Zumba is that no experience is necessary to join in the fun, and anyone can do it! Attendees of all ages, fitness levels, and dancing abilities can have a blast while getting a good workout at their own level. Please be sure to wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and flat shoes.

Puppy Pawlooza

Puppy Pawlooza is back by popular demand! We are excited to bring Puppy Pawlooza to Open Source Summit North America 2019 and have partnered with the San Diego Humane Society to bring some of these amazing rescue dogs to interact with attendees Friday morning. Attendees are welcome to enjoy playtime with these shelter dogs, and if a couple of hours with these furry friends isn’t enough, all dogs will be available for adoption!

The San Diego Humane Society offers a wide range of programs and services that strengthen the human-animal bond, prevent cruelty/neglect, provide medical care, educate the community on the humane treatment of animals, and provide services for families needing assistance keeping their pets.
