General Information

Where is the conference located?

Kubernetes Day India will be held at Infosys Limited, Plot No 44/45, Electronics City, Hosur Road, BANGALORE 560100.

How do I get to the conference?

Is parking available? How much is parking and do you validate?

Yes, complimentary. Please note there is limited complimentary parking available onsite. We recommend that attendees take a taxi/car share, public transportation or carpool.

Where do I pick up my name badge?

Registration in the Infosys Parking lot, gate 10 starting at 7:30.

Can I bring a laptop?

Due to venue security, we discourage attendees from bringing a computer to the event (phones or tablets are permissible).

If you ARE bringing a computer, please follow the below instructions, which are required by the host venue for entry to the event:
– Provide serial number, make and model of your laptop by March 13, 18:00 IST.
– Log back into your registration and click on the modify button. Go to the second page titled ‘Additional Information’, click ‘Yes’ I plan to bring a computer and input your computer details including serial number, make and model of your laptop.

All attendees with a computer will be checked at badge pick up to be sure that the pre- disclosed information matches the computer brought onsite. If you do not provide the above information in advance, you will not be permitted into the event with a laptop.

What is the recommended attire?

Business casual attire is recommended.

Will there be a coat or luggage check available?

No – please plan accordingly.

What meals are provided with my conference registration?

Light breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea.

I have a dietary restriction. Who should I contact?

In the registration form, you will be able to indicate a dietary restriction or need. You may also email events@cncf.io and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate.

Are conference sessions being recorded or livestreamed?

Conference sessions are being recorded and will be available on the Kubernetes Day India website the week following the event.

How do I access a speaker's slides after the conference?

If speakers choose to make their slides public, this will be available in the Sched agenda.

Is there a conference app?

There is not a specific app but you can view the mobile schedule here.

I have questions regarding Linux Foundation membership. Who should I contact?

Registration

How do I enter the drawing for a $1,500 travel stipend and complimentary registration to one of the three KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events in 2019?

Attendees who pick up their badges between 7:30 – 8:30, on March 23 will be entered into a drawing for a $1,500 USD travel stipend and complimentary registration to one of the three KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events in 2019. Three winners will be announced after lunch, must be present to win.

Do I need to bring an identification card?

Yes, you must bring and present a government issued identification card for Indian Nationals and passport for foreign nationals. If you do not have the proper identification, you will be denied entry to the event.

Can I register onsite?

No, tickets are now sold out.

Do you offer a student discount?

If you are a full-time student or faculty of an academic institution of higher education, please email events@cncf.io for a 50% off discount code. This discount is not available once tickets have sold out.

Where do I get my speaker access code?

You should have received a registration link in your acceptance email. If you did not, please email events@cncf.io for more details.

Where do I get my sponsor access code?

A registration link was shared in an email to your company’s sponsorship contact. Please speak to your company’s sponsorship contact if you need to register as a Sponsor. For further questions, please email events@cncf.io.

Are there media passes available?

If you are a member of the media interested in attending this conference and have not received a complimentary access code to attend, please contact events@cncf.io.

What is the cancellation, refund, and substitution policy?

If you must cancel for any reason, log back into your registration using your confirmation number and select “unregister” or email us at events@cncf.io. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received no later than March 9, 2019 at 11:59PM IST and may take up to 14 days to process. Please note that all refunds are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.
If you are unable to attend, you may substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation. To substitute an attendee, you may return to the registration form, log in as ‘Already Registered’ and edit the registration with the new attendee’s information. Utilizing this feature will also allow you to re-issue yourself a receipt and/or confirmation should you need it.

Are there scholarships available?

I need a visa letter to attend this event. How do I request one?

Is registration for Linux Foundation Events GDPR compliant?

If you would like to request that your data be removed from The Linux Foundation event registration system, please email gdpr@linuxfoundation.org. If you have any questions about the GDPR, you can reach us at privacy@linuxfoundation.org.

Is a hotel reservation included in my registration?

How do I make a hotel reservation?

Visit the Venue & Travel page to make a reservation at a recommended nearby hotel.

Who should I contact if I have a question regarding my hotel reservation?

For questions regarding your hotel reservation, contact the hotel directly.

I need to cancel my hotel reservation. What should I do?

To modify or cancel your hotel reservation, contact the hotel you booked with directly.

Sponsors

I am staffing a booth in the sponsor showcase but not attending any sessions. Do I need to register?

Everyone participating in the conference should be registered. Please speak to your company’s sponsorship contact if you need to register as a sponsor. For further questions, please email events@cncf.io.

Diversity & Inclusion

Will there be a nursing room at the conference?

Yes. For location information, please check with registration or information desk staff onsite. If you need a refrigerator, please email events@cncf.io prior to the conference to make arrangements.

What is the policy on animals at the event?

Service animals are permitted. Please let us know in advance so we can make necessary accommodations by emailing events@cncf.io.

Is the conference venue accessible?

Yes. If you need assistance onsite locating an elevator or have other questions about accessibility, please speak to a member of the Linux Foundation event staff at any of the registration or information desks. If you have questions prior to the event, email events@cncf.io.

Are there evening events at the conference?
