General Information

Where is the conference located?

Kubernetes Forum Sydney will be held at the Sydney Showground (1 Showground Rd, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127, Australia). Visit the Venue & Travel page for more information.

How do I get to the conference?

Is parking available? How much and do you validate?

Sydney Olympic Park has over 10,000 parking spaces site-wide. Carparks P1, P5 and P6 are in close proximity to Sydney Showground. Costs: $5 per hour, up to a maximum fee of $25 per day. For more information, visit the Venue and Travel page.

What is the recommended attire?

Business casual attire is recommended.

What meals are provided with my conference registration?

Welcome coffee, AM break, lunch and PM break.

I have a dietary restriction. Who should I contact?

In the registration form, you will be able to indicate a dietary restriction or need. You may also email events@cncf.io and reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate.

Are conference sessions being recorded or livestreamed?

Conference sessions are being recorded and will be available on the CNCF YouTube Channel the week following the event.

How do I access a speaker's slides after the conference?

If speakers choose to make their slides public, slides will be available for download in the schedule.

Is there a conference app?

There is not a specific app but you can view the mobile schedule in Sched starting October 16.

Are there bookable meeting rooms I can use during the conference?

No but you can reach out to the local hotels to inquire about rooms for rent; see contact details on the Venue & Travel page.

I have questions regarding CNCF membership. Who should I contact?

Registration

Can I register onsite?

Yes, if tickets are not sold out, the cost is USD $200, paid by credit card only.

Where do I get my speaker access code?

You should have received a registration link in your acceptance email. If you did not, please email speakers@cncf.io for more details.

Where do I get my sponsor access code?

A registration link was shared in an email to your company’s sponsorship contact. Please speak to your company’s sponsorship contact if you need to register as a Sponsor. For further questions, please email sponsors@cncf.io.

Are there media passes available?

If you are a member of the media interested in attending the conference and have not received a complimentary access code to attend, please contact us at pr@cncf.io.

What is the cancellation, refund, and substitution policy?

If you must cancel for any reason, please notify us via email at events@cncf.io. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received three weeks prior to the first day of the event and may take up to 14 days to process. If you are unable to attend, you can substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation by editing your registration here or by emailing events@cncf.io.

Are there scholarships available?

Yes. Please visit the Scholarships page for information on how to qualify and apply.

I need a visa letter to attend this event. How do I request one?

Is registration for Linux Foundation Events GDPR compliant?

If you would like to request that your data be removed from The Linux Foundation event registration system, please email gdpr@linuxfoundation.org. If you have any questions about the GDPR, you can reach us at privacy@linuxfoundation.org.

Is a hotel reservation included in my registration?

No. Visit the Venue & Travel page for more information about how to make a hotel reservation.

Who should I contact if I have a question regarding my hotel reservation?

For questions regarding your hotel reservation, contact the hotel directly.

I need to cancel my hotel reservation. What should I do?

To modify or cancel your hotel reservation, contact the hotel you booked with directly.

I'm having issues booking my reservation at the conference hotel(s). Is there someone at the Linux Foundation that can help?

If the hotel reservation cutoff date has not passed, please contact housing@linuxfoundation.org and a member of our team will be in touch shortly. Please note, rooms will most likely sell out in advance of the room block close dates listed. We encourage you to book early to secure a room at the conference rate.

If the conference hotel is sold out, you may need to secure alternative lodging. Visit the Venue & Travel page for alternative hotel options.

Sponsors

I am staffing a booth in the sponsor showcase but not attending any sessions. Do I need to register?

Everyone participating in the conference should be registered. Please speak to your company’s sponsorship contact if you need to register as a sponsor. For further questions, please email events@cncf.io.

Diversity & Inclusion

Is the conference venue accessible?

Yes. If you need assistance onsite locating an elevator or have other questions about accessibility, please speak to a member of the Linux Foundation Events Staff at any of the registration or information desks onsite. If you have a question prior to the event, please email events@cncf.io.
