DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

The Linux Foundation’s diversity scholarship program provides support to those from traditionally underrepresented and/or marginalized groups in the technology and/or open source communities (including, but not limited to: persons identifying as LGBTQ+, women, persons of color, and/or persons with disabilities) who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Linux Foundation events for financial reasons.

Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary registration pass. Please note, travel expenses are not covered under this scholarship and are the responsibility of the scholarship recipient. To apply for travel funding, please complete our Travel Fund Request form.

Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. Applicants can be approved for up to 2 (two) scholarships per each calendar year.

To apply, please fill out the scholarship application. All application information will be kept confidential. Please allow two weeks for application review. If you have any questions, please contact us at scholarships@linuxfoundation.org.

The Linux Foundation recommends that scholarship applicants check with the event host country’s visa and application requirements prior to application submission.

NEED-BASED REGISTRATION DISCOUNT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Linux Foundation is offering a limited number of scholarships for a discounted registration fee to attend the conference. Individuals who apply must not be able to get funding from their companies to attend these events and should be active members of the open source community.
