Platinum Deadlines

See deadlines for Platinum Sponsors below. Please submit all deliverables through the Google Form sent by Ashlee Carlson at acarlson@linuxfoundation.org by the deadlines listed below.

  • ASAP: Confirm your logo on the KubeDay Australia website if you have not done so already.
    • If the logo or link needs to be updated, please email the new information to Ashlee Carlson.
  • ASAP: Confirm use of exhibit space
    • Tabletop space includes (2) 1.8m tables with tablecloths, 2 chairs, basic power and power strip, wastebasket, and 2 lead retrieval devices.
  • 2 October: Provide your company’s X (Twitter) handle
    • Diamond sponsors will receive a pre-event standalone tweet with social card. Content will be provided by CNCF. No other action required from sponsor.
  • 2 October:  Submit your content for the pre-event group email.
    • Platinum sponsors may submit a promotional message for a pre-conference email to attendees who opted in to receive sponsored content. The maximum text length per sponsor is 1,000 characters. Hyperlinks may be included. Logos or images may NOT be included.
    • The email to attendees will be sent on 8 October (subject to change). It is non-exclusive and will be shared by both platinum sponsors. CNCF will send the email on a conference-branded email template on behalf of the sponsors. Attendee contact details will not be shared.
    • Submit your 1,000-character message no later than this date. Late submissions will not be accepted.
    • Late submissions will may not be accommodated.
  • 11 October: Deadline to order any additional AV. Please see below for ordering details.
    • Late orders cannot be accommodated.
    • Payments must be received prior to the start of the event.
    • Shared conference Wi-Fi is available to all event participants free of charge.

Speaking Opportunity: Diamond sponsors receive a 5-minute keynote speaking opportunity. Please see the speaking opportunity tab for more information.

Recognition in Opening Session: Diamond sponsors will be recognized during the opening session verbally and with their logo on a “thank you to our sponsors” slide.

Email to Opt-In Attendees

  • Diamond sponsors have the opportunity to send (1) pre- OR post-conference email to attendees who opted-in to receive sponsored content. Dates are reserved on a first come first serve basis. Review the email schedule and send your preferred date via the Google form you receive from Ashlee Carlson. CNCF will send emails on a conference-branded email template on behalf of the sponsor. Attendee contact details will not be shared. Finalized content and an optional 640px x 300px header image in PNG or JPG are due at least (5) business days prior to the send date.

Social Media Mention From @KubeCon_ Handle:

  • CNCF will create and post the content for social media mentions. Diamond sponsors receive 1 pre-event standalone tweet with social card.
  • No action is required on your part.

Mobile Schedule Branding:

Sponsors will have their company logo and link displayed on the mobile schedule on Sched.com.

Recognition On Event Website and Event Signage:

Sponsors will have their logo displayed on the event website and on in-person event signage.

  • Messages can thank attendees, promote a session, encourage attendees to download marketing materials, visit your tabletop, visit your website, contact you, etc.

Sponsors may bring custom tablecloths, pop-up banners, small backwalls, or anything that fits within your footprint and us under 8ft in height. Materials may not go outside your footprint. Subject to CNCF approval.

AV Upgrades

If you would like to rent monitors, laptops, or other audio/visual equipment for your booth, you may order directly from Rydges Melbourne. Please fill out the order form below and submit it no later than 11 October.

Shipping information

Shipping Instructions

Each company is responsible for shipping and tracking their own exhibit materials to and from the conference. We recommend hand-carrying when possible.

INBOUND SHIPPING

Shipments may arrive at the venue beginning 14 October.

Sponsors are responsible for their own shipments to and from the conference. Please confirm you have filled out any necessary customs paperwork as well.

OUTBOUND SHIPPING

Sponsors will need to package their own items and have return labels ready (please note we cannot print labels onsite). Sponsors will need boxes to be moved to the hotel’s outbound package location and call the carrier to arrange the pickup. Please let our onsite team know when your boxes are packed, labeled, and ready to be moved to the pickup location and we can assist.

Please complete and affix this collection label to all packages.

Onsite Security + Storage

Please do not leave valuable items unattended at your booth. Take valuables such as laptops to your hotel room or visit the Information Desk if you have any questions about storing items elsewhere overnight.  Any left behind items may be discarded at the sponsor’s expense.

Neither the Linux Foundation, CNCF, Rydges Melbourne nor their employees, staff, or third-party vendors will be held liable for lost or stolen items.
