The Resort at Squaw Creek offers several exciting winter activities you can partake in during your visit. While the Linux Foundation is not hosting any of these activities, the events team will be happy to book any of the following (3) experiences for you. Please CLICK HERE to sign up for activities. Monday Activities

Full Moon Snowshoe Tour

This tour is for adults only and includes all rentals, a guide, hot chocolate, peppermint schnapps, private fireplace, and s’mores. Learn about the winter Olympics, trees, and animals that live in Squaw Valley. Don’t miss out on this unique experience.

Price: $70 per adult (2 person minimum) + 18% gratuity

This tour is for all ages and skill-sets and includes instruction and a guide. Learn about the 1960s Winter Olympics, trees, and animals that live in Squaw Valley. This truly an experience you don’t want to miss.

  • $50 per person ($200 minimum) + 18% gratuity
    • Add $10 per person for s’mores and hot chocolate 
    • Add $50 for private fireplace and s’mores for the group

Snow Tubing in Lake Tahoe | Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows

Snow tubing is a fun mountain adventure for the whole family. Snow tubing is located at SnoVentures Activity Zone in the base area of Squaw Valley adjacent to the parking lot. Play in the snow, bond with family and friends, then warm up at the SnoVentures Lodge located adjacent to all of the fun.

Price: $42 weekdays, all ages (Must be 40 inches tall to ride and able to independently get in and out of the tube)

Details

  • Tubing tickets are sold on first come, first serve basis
  • Snow tubing sessions are 55-minutes long and begin on the top of the hour
  • Tickets are available for purchase online here
  • Walk-in reservations are limited, online reservations are highly recommended
  • Limited number of tickets per session in order to provide the best experience
  • Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable
  • Snow tubing hours are weather and conditions permitting

Beginner Cross Country Skiing Tour

Come experience the joy of Cross-Country Skiing with our Beginner Tour which will take you on over 3 miles of our groomed meadow trails. Your Guide will explain the equipment to you (including how to put it on and take it off), demonstrate how to move and balance on skis, how to hold your poles, negotiate different types of terrain (flat, uphill, downhill), how to get up if you fall and more!

Price: $50 per person, all ages (2 person minimum) + 18% gratuity

Scenic Aerial Tram Ride with Views of Lake Tahoe

Climb over 2,000 feet on the Scenic Aerial Tram. This panoramic 10-minute ride soars above the iconic Tram Face, offering stunning mountain vistas and beautiful views of Lake Tahoe itself. High Camp is located at 8,200 feet above sea level. Great for all ages!

Details

  • Aerial Tram operations are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
  • Hours of Operation: 9:00 am-4:00 pm Daily
  • Children 4 & under ride the Aerial Tram for free, but a physical ticket is still required. 
  • Is there food at High Camp? Yes! You can choose from Granite Bistro, a sit-down establishment with mountain views, or the grab-n-go High Camp Marketplace.
