Keynote Speakers

Carl Meadows is Director of Product at AWS for Amazon OpenSearch Service and is the board chair for the OpenSearch Software Foundation at the Linux Foundation.

Carl has over twenty-five years in product management developing enterprise software and cloud services. Prior to joining AWS, Carl held product management leadership roles at Engine Yard, SunGard Availability Services, SoftLayer/IBM and Symantec. He holds a BA from Berklee College of Music in Boston and an MBA from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.

Dom has almost 30 years of experience helping organisations build teams, products and GTM operations.

He’s passionate about focusing on the value that any technology can provide and has worked across numerous industry sectors including finance, healthcare and consulting. He has previously led product and GTM teams at Deutsche Bank, Google and several startups and is currently the Product Manager for OpenSearch at IBM having joined IBM as part of the DataStax acquisition in Aug 2025.

Software Engineer working with modern technologies to build impactfulsystems. His experience includes challenging domains such as personal mobility enhancement, where technology can directly improve people’s independence and quality of life. He currently contributes to the 8ra initiative, developing open-source solutions aimed at democratizing digital infrastructure across the Europe landscape.

ICT Engineer graduated from Politecnico di Torino, with a solid background in computer engineering and advanced expertise in AI and machine learning. Currently an AI Engineer at Adeptic Reply, contributing to Europe’s digital sovereignty by developing cutting‑edge AI solutions within the IPCEI‑CIS program. Passionate about turning complex technical challenges into practical, scalable innovations.

Patti Juric is Senior Marketing Content Manager for the OpenSearch Project, where she leads content, events, and partner strategy. She serves on the OpenSearch Software Foundation Marketing Committee and chairs the Program Committee for the Linux Foundation’s Observability Summit. Outside of work, she’s a wife, mom to three mostly-grown kids, and dog mom of two very fluffy Goldendoodles—all of whom keep her busy with soccer, volleyball, and walks.

Kris Freedain is the Senior Community Manager for the OpenSearch Project & OpenSearch Software Foundation technical steering committee. He has experience in community engagement, digital marketing, support, and release management throughout his career, contributing to various initiatives and events within the tech community. He has decades of experience in tech, but finds connecting people to be the most fulfilling part of being a community professional.
