Mark Collier has a proven track record of fostering organizational growth in neighboring open source foundations. Mark co-founded the Open Stack Foundation (now OpenInfra Foundation), and has played a key role in the development and global success of OIF. Over the past 13 years, he established it as a leading cloud platform and one of the most dynamic projects in the history of open source computing. Since its modest beginnings under Mark’s leadership in 2012 OSF/OIF has expanded into a community of 8 platinum, 10 gold and 66 silver corporate members. Mark’s robust knowledge of AI, including a central role in shaping the definition of open source AI through the Open Source Initiative, makes him an ideal leader for LF AI & Data and the PyTorch Foundation.

I am a Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, where I lead the Gemma post-training team focused on developing the most useful compact models for on-device applications. Since joining Google Brain, I have contributed to the evolution of Bard, Gemini, and Gemma, specializing in scaling reinforcement learning and distillation algorithms and architectures. During my PhD in a joint program between Google Brain and Inria Lille, my research centered on apprenticeship learning—a paradigm that integrates rewards and demonstrations to bridge the gap between human and artificial intelligence.

Joe Spisak has over a decade of experience building AI platforms, with leadership roles at Meta, Google, and Amazon. Joe helped make PyTorch the world’s leading open-source AI framework and guided its transition to the Linux Foundation in partnership with industry leaders. He spearheaded the open-source strategy for Llama, making cutting-edge models broadly accessible and enabling the community to scale AI in an open and collaborative way. Joe is also an active angel and advisor to next-generation AI startups such as Anthropic, General Reasoning, ReflectionAI and many others.

Besmira Nushi is a Senior AI Research Manager at NVIDIA in Zurich, where she leads research on LLM evaluation, model analysis and generalization, and real-world and agentic AI system measurements. Previously, she spent 7+ years at Microsoft Research advancing responsible AI, model reliability, and evaluation tooling. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from ETH Zurich. Her research has been published in premier AI venues and she is passionate about building open-source ML tools.

Matt White is the CTO of the PyTorch Foundation and AgenticAI at the Linux Foundation. Matt is a distinguished expert in artificial intelligence and business, renowned for successfully deploying large-scale AI platforms across the telecom, gaming, media, and entertainment industries. With over two decades of experience, Matt has consistently demonstrated his ability to stay ahead of the curve in technological innovation, spearheading advancements in AI applications in diverse domains.

Lysandre is the Chief Open-Source Officer at Hugging Face; ensuring that the ecosystem is as well supported as possible in the ML lifecycle, with open-source tools. He has been at Hugging Face for the past six years and was the first open-source employee at Hugging Face; working on transformers and the entire stack of Hugging Face open-source libraries since then.

Grzegorz Chlebus is a Manager at Frontier Model Evaluation at NVIDIA, where he leads tooling and infrastructure efforts for evaluating frontier AI models. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from Radboud University Nijmegen, focused on deep learning-based medical image segmentation. Previously, he managed ML teams at Qualtrics scaling ML efforts company-wide, and spent 8 years at Fraunhofer MEVIS as a Research Scientist in medical image analysis.

Maryam is a Principal Engineer in Red Hat’s Office of the CTO, where she focuses on standardising CPU inferencing performance evaluation to help effectively validate and scale ML workloads.

Artur is a member of the technical staff at Anyscale, the company that recently donated Ray to the Linux Foundation. He has been contributing to Ray since early 2022, where his main contributions have been in distributed reinforcement learning. Artur majored in Computer Science at RWTH Aachen in 2020 before joining a research project on human pose estimation. After joining Anyscale in 2022, he has worked on reinforcement learning, as well as LLM fine-tuning and inference as a software engineer. Since early 2025, Artur has been working closely with Ray users across various types of workloads like training and data processing.

Jonathan Bryce is the Executive Director of Cloud & Infrastructure at the Linux Foundation, where he leads both the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and the OpenInfra Foundation—two of the largest and most influential open source communities in the world. With over 15 years of open source leadership, Jonathan co-founded the OpenStack project, guiding its evolution into a global ecosystem that supports a multi-billion-dollar market and serves as the de facto standard for open cloud infrastructure. Before his open source career, Jonathan spent over a decade in data center infrastructure and co-founded one of the industry’s earliest cloud computing companies, which grew into a billion-dollar business following its acquisition by Rackspace. Passionate about open collaboration, infrastructure innovation, and empowering users, contributors, and ecosystems worldwide, Jonathan frequently speaks at international conferences on open source strategy, infrastructure modernization, cloud-native technologies, and open source AI initiatives.

Tyler received a PhD in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Austin, studying high performance dense linear algebra – microkernels, parallelism, and theoretical lower bounds on data movement. After a postdoc at ETH Zürich, he joined Neural Magic, first working on a graph compiler for sparse neural network inference on CPUs, and then on vLLM.

Ramine Roane is the Corporate Vice President of AI Product Management and ecosystem development at AMD, based in San Jose, California. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President of Data Center Acceleration within AMD’s Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group in 2022. Before the AMD-Xilinx merger, Ramine was Vice President of Software and AI Product Management at Xilinx, where he oversaw Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software tools. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at EDA companies including Synopsys and Mentor
Graphics. Ramine holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble in France.

Nicolò is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Red Hat with a background in Deep Learning and Computer Vision. He works on Inference Optimization for vLLM, where he is a maintainer.

Patrick von Platen is a Research Engineer at Mistral AI, focussed on natural language processing and scalable AI systems. Currently, he contributes to vLLM, is a former core maintainer of Transformers, and created Diffusers.
