Walking Tour of Salzburg

Join other event attendees on a walking tour of Salzburg with volunteer guides. The tour will last approximately 1-2 hours, and will be followed by an optional visit to a beer garden.
There is no cost to attend, but tips for our local volunteer guides are welcome. Pre-registration is required – limited to 50 participants.
*In case of heavy rain or storms, the event will be cancelled. An email will be sent to registrants in case of cancellation.

The university at Mirabellplatz 1 with the Solitaire event room is barrier-free. It is located within 25 min walking distance from the conference venue or can be reached via bus lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 25, stop Mirabellplatz.

Come join our hosts and sponsor Appsilon for a quiz night! This event is hosted at the Stiegl Keller. €40 includes your first drink as well as a beer hall feast of salad, 4 Austrian mains and a delicious dessert of Austrian pancakes with roasted plums. Alongside the delicious food and drink will be a fun night of questions by our hosts to test your R and Shiny knowledge. Please feel free to come with or without a team – we’ll be on hand to ensure every attendee has a shot at winning the quiz night.
