Dan Kohn スカラーシップ ファンドは、他の方法では参加する機会がない人々を支援するもので、以下の2つのカテゴリがあります。

スカラーシップの基準は、ニーズとインパクトです。スカラーシップを他の人に譲渡したり、他のイベントに使用することはできません。選考は、各応募者のリクエストを厳正に評価する専門の審査員グループによって行われます。応募情報は秘密厳守いたします。

スカラーシップ受給者は、横浜で開催されるKubeDay Japan 2022に参加するための無料の登録パスと、実際の旅費を補償するための最大1,500米ドルの奨学金を受け取ります。払い戻しはイベント後に行われます。奨学金は、「エコノミー航空運賃」「ホテル/宿泊施設 (2泊まで)」「空港への往復の交通費」および「ビザ申請料」に対してのみ使用できます。

奨学金の受領は、それ自体でイベントへの参加を保証するものではありません。受領者は、The Linux Foundationの「COVID-19に関する規則と規制」を遵守する必要があります。奨学生がイベントのCovid-19要件を満たしていない場合、奨学金は無効になります。詳細については、こちらを参照してください。

The Dan Kohn Scholarship Fund exists to support individuals who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend in two categories:

Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of need and impact. Scholarships are NOT transferable to another person, or any other event. Selection will be made by an assembled group of reviewers who will assess each applicant’s request. Application information will be kept confidential.

Scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary registration pass to attend KubeDay Japan 2022 in Yokohama, and up to a max of $1,500 USD to reimburse actual travel expenses. Please note that reimbursements are made after the event, and the stipend may only be used for the following: coach airfare, hotel / accommodations (up to two nights), transportation to and from the airport, and visa application fee.

Receipt of a scholarship does not, on its own, guarantee entry to the event. Recipients need to adhere to The Linux Foundation COVID-19 rules and regulations. If the recipient does not meet COVID-19 requirements for the event, the scholarship is null and void. To learn more, please click here

残念ながら、すべてのリクエストに対して旅費を支給することはできません。このイベントに参加するために旅費交通費が必要な場合は、レジストレーション スカラーシップのリクエストを完了する前に、トラベル ファンドのリクエストが承認されたことを確認してください。

トラベル ファンドの受領はイベントへの参加を保証するものではありません。奨学生は、The Linux Foundationの「COVID-19に関する規則と規制」を遵守する必要があります。奨学生がイベントのCovid-19要件を満たしていない場合、割り当てられたトラベル ファンドは無効になります。受領者がCOVID-19のために旅行できず、旅行がすでに予約されている場合、受領者は航空会社やホテルと協力して払い戻しを受ける必要があります。払い戻しが不可能な場合、The Linux Foundationは割り当てられた金額の範囲内で発生した旅費を払い戻します。注意：2022年の対面イベントへの参加には、ワクチン接種の証明書またはCOVID-19検査陰性証明書が必要です。

レジストレーション スカラーシップとトラベル ファンドの申請者は、イベント開催国のビザ要件や申請要件などを十分確認してから申請してください。

Please note: Travel expenses are not covered under this Registration Scholarship. If you require travel funding in order to attend this event, please fill out the Travel Fund Request Form prior to submitting this Registration Scholarship application.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide Travel Funding for all requests received. If you require Travel Funding in order to attend this event, we ask that you wait for confirmation that your request has been approved before completing the Registration Scholarship request.

Receipt of Travel Funding does not guarantee entry to the event.  Recipients need to adhere to The Linux Foundation COVID-19 rules and regulations. If the recipient does not meet COVID-19 requirements for the event, the travel fund allotted is null and void. Should the recipient not be able to travel due to COVID-19 and travel has already been booked, the recipient will need to work with airlines and hotels to receive a refund. If a refund is not a possibility, The Linux Foundation will reimburse for incurred travel expenses within the allotted amount. Please Note: Attendance at 2022 in-person events requires proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test.

The Linux Foundation recommends that Registration Scholarship and Travel Funding applicants check with the event host country’s visa and application requirements prior to application submission.
