Hotel Information
Important: The Linux Foundation will never reach out to attendees by phone to make hotel reservations for our conferences. Please be advised that the most secure way to book in our discounted room block is by using the direct booking link provided below or by calling the hotel directly. If you receive a phone call or email from someone claiming to be with The Linux Foundation or the hotel and they attempt to sell you a hotel room, please email us at housing@linuxfoundation.org.
The Linux Foundation will cover 4 hotel nights for all domestic employees and 5 hotel nights for all international employees, May 1 – 6.
It is recommended that East Coast attendees fly in the morning of Monday, arriving before 10:00 AM MST, and West Coast attendees fly out the evening of Thursday, after 4:00 pm. Additional nights will be at your expense.

If you work solely on 1 project, not a Linux Foundation department, please confirm travel with the project lead before booking.
At the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, we have a discounted room block with rates from $199.00 USD per night depending on room type and availability (plus taxes and fees).
The daily resort fee is discounted over our event dates to $10 per day, per room, plus taxes (from the normal rate of $25/day++).
Rate Includes: Complimentary guest room internet, in-room coffee, local and 800 phone calls, self and valet parking, access to tennis courts and equipment rental, 24-hour access to the fitness center/classes, and pools.

At The McCormick Scottsdale, we have a discounted room block with rates from $179.00 USD per night depending on room type and availability (plus taxes and fees).
The daily resort fee is waived for our event dates (from the normal rate of $30/day, plus taxes).

Airport Information
Linux Foundation will reimburse all attendees for the cost of one (1) main cabin ticket to/from the LF All-Hands.

Transportation
It’s not the easiest to get from PHX to Scottsdale Plaza Resort via public transportation. If you’re feeling adventurous and have time, check out the available options here.
Lyft and Uber are available at the airport and are the recommended modes of transportation. If there are other LF folks on your flight, please share a ride to help reduce transportation costs
For those driving to the event, free parking is available as part of the hotel resort fee..
