Sunyanan Choochotkaew is a staff research scientist at IBM Research, specializing in distributed computing and performance acceleration on cloud platforms. She contributes to various open-source projects, where she holds the role of maintainer and top contributor, including Kepler (Kubernetes-based Efficient Power Level Exporter) and Multi-NIC CNI. She is an organizer of the CNCF Community Group in Japan (CNCJ), and played a leader role in organizing the CNCF Cloud Native Sustainability Week in Tokyo 2024. Sunyanan has served as a program committee member and an organizing committee member for several conferences in the fields of HPC, AI, and networking, and has also served as an associate editor for IEICE Transactions on Information and Systems.

Masaki Kimura is an engineer at Hitachi, Ltd., focusing on the development and improvement of Kubernetes. He has contributed to promoting the raw block volume feature and the CSI feature stable and the CrossNamespaceVolumeDataSource feature alpha. He has also authored several Kubernetes Enhancement Proposals (KEPs) that are currently under discussion within the community. In addition to his technical work, he is interested in expanding the community of Kubernetes contributors in Japan. He shares his knowledge by giving presentations on the Kubernetes features at various OSS and cloud native events and serves as a tutor at Kubernetes Upstream Training Japan.

Masaya Aoyama is a Senior Software Engineer and Product Owner of a managed Kubernetes platform at CyberAgent, Inc. He also serves as a Technical Advisor to 3-shake, Inc. and CREATIONLINE, Inc., both of which are CNCF member companies. Since 2017, he has been an active leader and contributor in Japan’s Cloud Native communities, organizing numerous conferences and meetups throughout the country. Notably, he has served as a Co-Chair of “CloudNative Days”, Japan’s largest conference series in this field, for more than seven years. As a Co-Founder and Co-Organizer of the CNCF Japan Chapter (CNCJ), he continues to foster and grow the local community. He is also the author of the highly acclaimed “Kubernetes Perfect Guide”, widely regarded as the most popular Kubernetes book in Japan.

Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. In a previous life, he bootstrapped a consulting company, made many mistakes, lead and hacked on many eclipse.org and Linux related projects

Mauricio works as an Open Source Software Engineer at @Diagrid, contributing to and driving initiatives for the Dapr OSS project. Mauricio also serves as a Steering Committee member for the Knative Project and Co-Leading the Knative Functions initiative. He published a book titled Platform Engineering on Kubernetes for Manning Publishing and previously worked at VMware and Red Hat, building tools to help developers be more productive.

Alexa Griffith is a Senior Software Engineer on Bloomberg’s Cloud Native Compute Services organization. She works on building an inference platform for ML workflows and the open source project KServe. She enjoys solving engineering challenges at scale and writing code in Go. She also enjoys engaging with the community through her personal podcast, Alexa’s Input (https://anchor.fm/alexagriffith), and writing technical blogs (https://medium.com/@alexagriffith).

Marc is a software engineer with 20+ years of experience spanning gaming, consulting, finance, and cloud technologies. He’s served as CTO of a cloud-native consultancy, Lead Gamesystems Engineer for the MMO Lord of the Rings Online, and Developer Advocate for Kubernetes/Openshift and other open-source technologies at Red Hat.

Now a Staff Engineer at Canva, Marc leads the development of its Kubernetes-based internal platform and previously drove Canva’s migration from ECS to EKS.

Yue Bao serves as a software engineer of Huawei Cloud. She is now working 100% on open source, focusing on lightweight edge for KubeEdge. She is the maintainer of KubeEgde and also the tech leader of KubeEdge SIG Release and Node. Before that, Yue worked on Huawei Cloud Intelligent EdgeFabric Service and participated in multiple edge engineering projects. Yue graduated from Chu Kochen Honors College of Zhejiang University, majoring in information science and electronic engineering.

Hongbing Zhang is Chief Operating Officer of DaoCloud. He is a veteran in open source areas, he founded IBM China Linux team in 2011 and organized team to make significant contributions in Linux Kernel/openstack/hadoop projects. Now he is focusing on cloud native domain and leading DaoCloud’s edge computing tech/product/business team to continue open source contributions.

Yuichi Nakamura,Ph.D has been engaged with OSS over 20 years, contributed SELinux, gave presentations in many OSS events such as Linux Security Summit, Embedded Linux Conference and KubeCon. He also launched ecosystem of business and OSS contribution model based on Keycloak in Hitachi,Ltd. He is one of the 1st evangelists of the Linux Foundation Japan and launched CNCF Japan chapter Cloud Native Community Japan (CNCJ) with community colleagues. He is also a board of the Linux Foundation.

Naoki Oguchi is responsible for development of infrastructure software, especially developing future technologies in Linux and Kubernetes. He has been with Fujitsu since 1992, working on communication software development including Frame Relay/ATM switch, IP router, Firewall, LTE/WiMAX wireless system, WAN acceleration technique, SDN, NFV and Data center network. He has obtained a Ph.D. degree in informatics. He also co-chaired the KubeDay Japan 2022.

Yuiko Mori is a software engineer at NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd. on a wide range of software projects, and developing open source software. She’s been an active technical contributor to Kubernetes, and also previously she had worked for OpenStack.

Akihiro Suda is a software engineer at NTT Corporation. He has been a maintainer of Moby (dockerd), BuildKit, containerd, runc, etc. He is also a founder of nerdctl and Lima (CNCF project).

Lin is the Head of Open Source at Solo.io, and a CNCF TOC member and ambassador. She has worked on the Istio service mesh since the beginning of the project in 2017 and serves on the Istio Steering Committee and Technical Oversight Committee. Previously, she was a Senior Technical Staff Member and Master Inventor at IBM for 15+ years. She is the author of the book “Istio Ambient Explained” and has more than 200 patents to her name.

Kohei Ota is a Senior Field Engineer at Apple. He is one of the Japanese localization leads for Kubernetes SIG Docs, and prev KubeCon speaker and co-chair of KubeDay Japan 2024. Beyond his professional roles, Kohei is instrumental in organizing CloudNative Days, the most prominent cloud-native conference in Japan. His visionary leadership extends to founding Cloud Native Community Japan, the official Japanese chapter of CNCF.

He’s also a CNCF Ambassador and GDE (Google Cloud).
