Annania Melaku is a Technical Program Manager at NGINX, part of F5, where her focus is on NGINX and F5 open source and community. Her previous role as OSS Compliance Lead in the Comcast Open Source Program Office, was focused on automating solutions for open source license compliance and delivery. She has experience in the defense & aerospace industry as well as in the telecommunications industry. Annania has worked various roles spanning software engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and program management. She is passionate about open source, collaboration, innovation, diversity, and inclusion. Annania serves on the TODO Group Steering Committee and was on the 2023 Open Source Summit North America Program Committee. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. Dan Cauchy is the General Manager of Automotive at The Linux Foundation and the Executive Director of Automotive Grade Linux, a cross-industry effort to build an open software platform for automotive applications. Cauchy has over 22 years of experience spanning the automotive, telecom, networking, and mobile business verticals. Prior to his current position, he was the VP and GM of MontaVista’s Automotive Business Unit (acquired by Mentor). During this period, Cauchy served on the Board of Directors of the GENIVI Alliance and was responsible for the creation of the GENIVI Compliance Program, which he chaired for three years. He also has extensive startup experience and served as the Director of Product Management at Atrica (acquired by Nokia-Siemens Networks) and the Director of Architecture and Strategy at BlueLeaf Networks (now Picarro). Cauchy also previously held senior management and engineering leadership positions at Cisco Systems, Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel), and Nortel.

Dr. Dawn Foster is an OSS strategy consultant. She is also on the board of CHAOSS and OpenUK, and was previously a co-chair of the CNCF Contributor Strategy Technical Advisory Group. She has 20+ years of experience at companies like VMware and Intel with expertise in community, strategy, governance, and metrics. She has spoken at over 100 industry events and has a BS in computer science, an MBA, and a PhD. In her spare time she enjoys reading science fiction, running, 3D printing, and traveling.

Diego Gosmar serves as Chief AI Officer, specializing in Artificial Intelligence with a particular focus on Multi-Agent Systems, Generative Conversational AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Conversation Analysis, AI Agent Interoperability and Automation, as well as Sustainable and Ethical Conversational AI.
He leads AI Competence Centers in both the Customer Care and Supply Chain domains.

Tracing, BPF, DTrace, CTF, and more. Some of the current most visible
projects in Elena’s team are writing a GCC backend for BPF and

Greg Kroah-Hartman is among a distinguished group of software developers who maintain Linux at the kernel level. In his role as a Linux Foundation Fellow, he continues his work as the maintainer for the Linux stable kernel branch and a variety of subsystems while working in a fully neutral environment. He also works closely with Linux Foundation members and projects, and on key initiatives to advance Linux.

Greg created and maintains the Linux Driver Project. He is also currently the maintainer for the Linux stable kernel branch and a variety of different subsystems that include USB, staging, driver core, tty, and sysfs, among others. Most recently, he was a Fellow at SUSE.

Hiro Fukuchi is OSPO and Senior Alliance Manager in Sony Group Corporation. He is working on Open Source strategy and relationship with OSS communities. He is a core contributor of OpenChain Japan workgroup from the beginning, ToDo Group and SPDX. He is a speaker at OSSEU(2019,2021,2022) OSSJP(2021,2022), regarding a regional community and OSPO. He is an English-Japanese translation volunteer regarding OSS community related document, such as OpenChain and SPDX specification. TOKITA Hiroshi has been working at Fujitsu as an embedded systems developer for 20 years.

Senior engineering leader with more than 30+ years in software development in both open and closed source solutions. Currently focusing on standardization of AI systems. and is an AI expert at IEEE, ISO, She chairs the SPDX AI/Dataset profile working group.

Kate Stewart works with the safety, security and license compliance communities to advance the adoption of best practices into embedded open source projects. She has launched the ELISA and Zephyr Projects, as well as supporting other embedded projects. With more than 30 years of experience in the software industry, she has held a variety of roles in software development, architecture, and product management, primarily in the tooling and embedded ecosystem working with international teams.

Kenta Tada has worked as a Linux engineer and a team lead for various organizations.

He has specialized in the Linux kernel tracing technologies and eBPF. In the past, he contributed to Linux kernel and BPF Compiler Collection (BCC) to improve the kernel tracing infrastructure. He also has contributed to some CNCF related projects including serving as a reviewer for the system validator used in kubeadm preflight checks.

In 2023, he reviewed the Japanese translation of the book “Learning eBPF” published by O’Reilly Japan. In 2024, he participated as an organizer of Cloud Native Community Japan (CNCJ), fostering the open source cultures in Japan.

Kerim is a senior developer advocate at IBM, where he coaches operators and developers on sustainable infrastructure and orchestration workflows.

Before he joined IBM, Kerim worked on Industrial IoT for the Amsterdam airport and helped museums bring more of their collections online.

Marta Rybczynska has network security background, 20 years of experience in Open Source including 15 in embedded development. She has been working with embedded operating systems like Linux and various real-time ones, system libraries and frameworks up to user interfaces. She’s a member of the security team of the Yocto Project, Technical Steering Committee of OpenEmbedded, and a co-maintainer of meta-security.

Masae is a Staff Open Source Program Manager, leading the company’s open source business and community strategy alignment, and strategy consultations. Muuhh IKEDA has been an OSS lover and believer since his first compilation using GCC in the 1990s. His involvement in Linux Kernel development has primarily focused on embedded and IoT use cases. He is currently working at Cybertrust Japan as an OSS Evangelist and a member of the Open Source Program Office (OSPO), which encourages employees to enhance their active contribution to the OSS community, same as a LF Japan Evangelist. Nagesh Kumar Vinnakota is a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Capital One with over 21 years of experience building large-scale, cloud-native, and distributed systems. He specializes in designing resilient, high-performance platforms for extreme scale. Currently, he is leading one of the largest fintech data migrations, moving millions of Discover customer loyalty records to Capital one using a custom-built, idempotent, and highly scalable distributed migration engine. He has deep expertise in cloud orchestration, serverless architectures (AWS Lambda + Go), CI/CD pipelines, data reconciliation at scale, and zero-downtime system transitions. Passionate about open source technologies, he actively applies and contributes to open standards and tools that power modern cloud and data infrastructure.

For most of his 15+ year career, Nao has been involved in the architecture, design, and engineering of open source systems, including the Linux kernel, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Hyperledger. Nao is currently working on CNCF, LF Energy, FINOS, OSPO, and Agentic AI. Nao led the OSS team in the R&D Group, focusing on open-source strategy, community engagement, and technical contributions. He started the CNCF/Glossary Japanese translation projects and was one of the organizers of the Cloud Native Community Japan.

Natali Vlatko (she/her) is a Director of Open Source Software Engineering at Cisco, specializing in open software, policy, and governance. She is a SIG Docs Co-Chair for Kubernetes and a member of the TODO Group Steering Committee. She plays on the fun computer in her spare time. Her academic background is in Egyptology and Archaeology; specifically, burial customs across the various kingdoms of Ancient Egypt. Ask her about dead stuff.

Nicole Pappler is a Functional Safety expert at AlektoMetis, specializing in the intersection of safety, cybersecurity, overall dependability, and open source. With 20+ years of experience in automotive software and industrial automation — including a decade at TÜV SÜD — she bridges the gap between rigid standards and modern development. 

Within the Linux Foundation, Nicole serves as the Functional Safety Manager for the Zephyr Project and is a lead contributor to the SPDX Functional Safety Profile, focusing on machine-readable safety documentation. She is also an active member of the ELISA Project. 
Nicole is a frequent speaker and community collaborator who believes that transparency is the only way to solve the industry’s shared challenges.

Norio Kobota is a Senior Open Source Strategist in Sony Group Corporation. He is the chair of Open Source Software License Committee in Sony and works to improve OSS compliance and relationships with OSS communities. He represents Sony as a board member of OpenChain Project. And he is participating the SPDX Project and contributing the SPDX Lite.

Philipp Ahmann is a Senior OSS Community Manager at ETAS (a Bosch subsidiary), specializing in safety-critical automotive open source software. With 15+ years’ experience in Linux automotive platforms, he has held roles from software engineer to project & line manager.
He currently holds the position of the technical steering committee chair for the Linux Foundation ELISA project to Enable Linux in Safety Applications. Additionally, he is member of the Linux Foundation Europe Advisory Board

Ricardo currently works at Snowflake as a Cloud Infrastructure Lead helping automate AI/ML infrastructure with cloud native technologies. He’s an open source enthusiast and co-chair of the CNCF TAG-Runtime. He has been working in tech for more than 20 years and comes from a diverse professional background, having been in different roles at large companies such as Rakuten, Cisco and VMware as well as startups such as Branch Metrics, Coupa, Hytrust, Exablox, and SnapLogic.

Ryan Hsieh is a Technical Project Manager at Cathay Financial Holdings, working on open source strategy, governance, and developer enablement in the financial sector. He focuses on building scalable OSPO and open source governance practices, software supply chain security, and strengthening collaboration between enterprises and open source communities. He is an active participant in TODO Group, OSPOlogy Asia, and COSCUP.

Sasha helps maintain the Linux Kernel Stable and LTS trees. He is currently employed by NVIDIA where he helps make Linux better. Previously, Sasha was employed by Google, Microsoft, and the Ksplice team in Oracle.

Shinsuke Kato plays a leading role in Panasonic’s OSPO, where he promotes open source software (OSS) initiatives and compliance. Previously, he worked as a Linux developer, contributing to Linux improvements for Panasonic products. With over 20 years of experience in Linux and OSS, he now focuses on advancing OSS practices across the company through education, guidance, and compliance activities.

Shivay Lamba is a software engineer and open source contributor passionate about AI and edge computing. With experience across startups and enterprise tech, he focuses on simplifying complex technologies for developers. Shivay actively speaks at global conferences, organizes community events, and contributes to projects in cloud-native ecosystems, WebAssembly, and machine learning. He has also built and mentored educational programs to bridge gaps in emerging tech adoption.

Shu Muto was a maintainer for Kubernetes Dashboard and several OpenStack Dashboard plugins since 2015. He organizes Kubernetes Upstream Training Japan to increase contributors and promotes open source culture as an organizer of Cloud Native Community Japan. Shuah Khan is a Kernel Maintainer & Linux Fellow at The Linux Foundation. She is an experienced Linux Kernel developer, maintainer, and contributor. She authored, A Beginner’s Guide to Linux Kernel Development (LFD103) training course. She designed and leads the Mentorship program aimed at increasing diversity in open source and providing equitable access to learning resources.

She serves on the Linux kernel Code of Conduct committee and the Linux Foundation Technical Advisory Board.

Stephen Chin is VP of Developer Relations at Neo4j, member of the LF AI & Data Foundation and Open AI Alliance, and author of several titles with O’Reilly, Apress, and McGraw Hill. He has keynoted numerous conferences around the world including AI DevSummit, Devoxx, DevNexus, JNation, JavaOne, Shift, Joker, swampUP, and Open Source India. Stephen is an avid motorcyclist who has done evangelism tours in Europe, Japan, and Brazil, interviewing developers in their natural habitat. When he is not traveling, he enjoys teaching kids how to do AI, embedded, and robot programming together with his daughters.

 Steven Rostedt currently works for Qube Research & Technologies. He is the main developer and maintainer for ftrace, the official tracer of the Linux kernel, as well as the user space tools and libraries that interact with the Linux tracing interface. Steven is also one of the original developers for the Real Time patch (PREEMPT_RT) and still helps maintain the stable releases of the Real Time patch set. He also develops ktest.pl (in the kernel) and created the “make localmodconfig” option.

Sunyanan Choochotkaew is a Senior Research Scientist at IBM Research Tokyo specializing in cloud native infrastructure, distributed systems, networking, and AI platforms. She is a maintainer of Kepler, a CNCF Sandbox project, and contributes to Kubernetes multi-networking and device management working group. Sunyanan is a CNCF Ambassador, a core organizer of the CNCF Japan Community Group, and served as Program Co-Chair for KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan 2025. She has spoken at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon events across North America, Europe, and Japan, and has served on the program committees of Open Source Summit Japan 2024 and 2025 and KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America 2026.

Swastik Baranwal is a long-time open source developer, maintainer, and community advocate. He contributes to and maintains open source projects, helps bring new contributors into the open source ecosystem, and advocates for sustainable open source communities. He has also spoken at several open source conferences.

Swastik is a maintainer of OSPOlogy and the website project, and serves as co-chair of the OSS in Business Working Group within the TODO Group.

Professionally, he works in the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) at TestMu AI (formerly LambdaTest), where he contributes to and helps nurture open source projects and communities including Selenium, Appium, and WebdriverIO.

He is also the creator of Box CLI Maker, a Go library for rendering boxes in the terminal, which is used by Kubernetes minikube.

Takashi Ninjouji, Chief Engineer at Honda Motor Co., Ltd., focuses on software-defined vehicles (SDV) and the Open Source Program Office (OSPO). He is also interested in security assurance and SBOM. He spent 10 years in R&D in the telecommunications and mobile industries. In the past 15 years, he has established and operated OSPOs at companies in web/IT and infrastructure. He also contributes to the OpenChain, SPDX, and AGL.

Tasha Drew leads Product Engineering for the AI team in the VCF Division of Broadcom. Her team is responsible for building a common platform for customer workloads to be able to build, manage, and scale their AI Agents and Inference workloads. Her team is also responsible for delivering VCF Intelligent Assist, the in-product Agents and AI capabilities for VCF itself. She lives in beautiful San Francisco, California with her husband, boys, and dog.

Thomas Petazzoni is the CEO of Bootlin, an engineering company specializing in Embedded Linux and Zephyr, with a strong focus on open source. A seasoned open-source contributor, he has authored over 900 patches to the Linux kernel and more than 5,000 patches to Buildroot, where he also serves as a co-maintainer. With more than 18 years of experience in Embedded Linux, Thomas has been a regular speaker at the Embedded Linux Conference and has been service for several years on its program committee.

Thomas Steenbergen specializes in strategic open source management, helping organizations align their open source practices with their objectives. An expert in open source adoption, community building, and compliance – including Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs). Currently he working for various Open Source Program Offices as a consultant including the OSPO at SIVON (ICT co-op of Dutch schools) and CARIAD (Volkswagen group company). He previously led OSPO at EPAM and HERE. He is a OSS Review Toolkit, TODO group maintainer and a regular contributor to FINOS’s Open Source Readiness, OpenChain and SBOM community (CycloneDX/SPDX). Tim Bird is a Principal Software Engineer for Sony Corporation, where he helps Sony use Linux and other open source software in their products. Tim is the organizer of the Linux Boot-Time Special Interest Group and is involved with various Linux Foundation projects (including previous membership on the LF board of Directors and the Linux kernel Technical Advisory Board). Tim created the Embedded Linux Conference, and has been involved with
Linux (and particularly embedded Linux) for over 30 years.

Tim Pepper is an engineer and executive with almost 30 years experience in open source software development. Tim’s work has touched many dimensions of software stack code (Linux/kernels, storage, mobile and embedded systems, power and performance, cloud orchestration, AI/ML frameworks) as well as how that software is developed and maintained (steering and conduct committees, mentorship, open source program offices, public policy, legal compliance, software supply chain security). In what free time remains, Tim dabbles at being a backyard farmer, homebrewer, woodworker, Vespa rider, and amateur triathlete.

Venil Noronha is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Stripe. He’s been a contributor to open source projects in the service mesh domain, like Istio and Envoy proxy.

Vini Jaiswal is a longtime contributor to some of the most widely adopted open source AI and data projects, including Apache Spark, MLflow, and most notably, Delta Lake. Recognized as a Top Voice in AI and Data, Vini is widely known for her impactful work in building scalable AI and data platforms at Databricks, TikTok and Citi, navigating complex global policy landscapes, and shaping AI policies and investments at key institutions such as the U.S. Congress, United Nations, and USPTO.

She served on several influential boards in the open source ecosystem, including as Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) at the Linux Foundation’s LF AI & Data, Governing Board member of both the Confidential Computing Consortium and LF AI, and Co-chair of the Open Source Programming track at the Grace Hopper Celebration.

Walt Miner has worked for The Linux Foundation as the Community Manager for Automotive Grade Linux since 2014. Walt has spoken at Automotive Linux Summit, Embedded World Conference in Nuremberg, Embedded Linux Conference, LinuxCon North America, and Open Source Summit North America and Europe. Walt has over 30 years of embedded software development and management experience in the automotive, mobile phone, and defense industries.

Ziyi Xie is an AI Technology Strategy Specialist at NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd. She is also a CNCF Ambassador and an organizer of Cloud Native Community Japan, Kubernetes Upstream Training Japan, and Cloud Native Security Japan. She has spoken at the Kubernetes Contributor Summit, KubeDay Japan, and KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Japan.

Yasushi SHOJI is a Linux kernel and embedded systems developer with over 20 years of experience. Founder of Space Cubics, he develops spacecraft using Zephyr RTOS and contributes to open source projects for high-reliability systems.

Xiaoya Xia studies how open-source communities and infrastructure evolve around emerging AI workloads and agent infra. At Ant Group, she uses ecosystem data to connect project activity with changes in AI technology and adoption. Her recent work includes the Agentic AI Landscape and research based on OpenDigger. She is a co-chair of KubeCon China 2026 and served on the Program Committees for Open Source Summit North America and Open Source Summit Japan in 2025.

Yoshitake Kobayashi is the Senior Manager at Toshiba Corporation. A part of his team provides a Linux distribution for various Toshiba products. His research interests include operating systems, distributed systems, and dynamically reconfigurable systems. Additionally, he is the Chair of the Technical Steering Committee for the Civil Infrastructure Platform Project, which is hosted by The Linux Foundation.

Yoshiyuki Tabata is an OSS consultant with over a decade of experience in IAM, API platforms, and cloud‑native security. He serves as Tech Lead of CNCF TAG Security and Compliance and is a Project Lead and author of the CNCF IAM Whitepaper. He is also a recipient of the 2026 CNCF TAGGIE Award.
He is a frequent speaker at global conferences such as KubeCon. In the Keycloak community, he has served as a co‑chair of KeycloakCon and supports community engagement through events.

Yuichi Nakamura, Ph.D. has been engaged in OSS for over 20 years, beginning with contributions to SELinux. He has built an ecosystem that bridges business and OSS contributions through Keycloak at Hitachi, and he leads the Hitachi OSPO to expand this ecosystem across the Hitachi global. He is also serving as a Linux Foundation Japan Evangelist and launched Cloud Native Community Japan (CNCJ) together with community colleagues.

Zhiqiang Yu is a TODO Group Ambassador and OpenChain Project Ambassador at the Linux Foundation. He has been a member of the Linux Foundation APAC Open Source Evangelist team since 2022 and currently serves as Co-chair of the LF APAC OSPO SIG. Together with Nadia Jiang and Jiangsheng Li, he co-founded the first OSPO Summit, contributing to the growth of the regional OSPO ecosystem.
