In 2024, Cephalocon attracted a diverse group of 352 in-person attendees from over 130 organizations worldwide, with the majority hailing from Europe, North America, and Asia. The event primarily drew professionals from the information technology sector (70%), but also included participants from non-profit organizations (20%), financial services, and other industries. Attendees’ roles ranged from DevOps engineers, system administrators, and technical team managers to architects and application developers, with individual contributors comprising the largest job level group (33%). The conference served as a hub for technical collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing among operators, developers, researchers, and enterprise users involved in open-source storage technologies like Ceph.
