Convince Your Boss

Want to attend CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2024, but not sure how to bring it up with your boss? We’ve published a sample letter below to help make the process easier. See you in Seattle!

Sample Letter

Dear {Name},

I’d like to attend the upcoming CloudNativeSecurityCon 2024 taking place June 26-27, 2024 in Seattle, WA. I’ve researched many conferences and found that this is the ONLY technical AND business conference on Cloud Native Security — with content from the community for security professionals, developers and experts.

Nearly 1,000  talented individuals from across the ecosystem will gather to share learnings, highlight innovation, and discuss the future of cloud native security — including security education + teaming, detections + incidents + response, architecture + identity + multi-tenancy + isolation, supply chains, and GRC.

Here’s how I envision my attendance at CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2024 strengthening our company:

  • CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2024 offers a variety of sessions, including presentations, hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices, find out more on how architecture and policy, secure software development, supply chain security, identity and access, forensics are evolving.
  • The infamous “hallway track” at CloudNativeSecurityCon North America 2024  will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.

Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, lunch, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the evening events, including the onsite reception, and other networking events.

I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned, and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.

Thanks,
