GitOpsCon is designed to foster collaboration, discussion, and knowledge sharing on GitOps. This event is aimed at audiences that are new to GitOps as well as those currently using GitOps within their organization. Get connected with others that are passionate about GitOps. Learn from practitioners about pitfalls to avoid, hurdles to jump, and how to adopt GitOps in your cloud native environment.

Registration Details

This event is one of our KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North America CNCF-hosted Co-located Events. In-person attendees have the option to register for an All-Access In-Person KubeCon + CloudNativeCon pass that will include entry to ALL CNCF-hosted co-located events + KubeCon + CloudNativeCon.

Call For Proposals

Submit a proposal to speak! Submissions are being accepted through Monday, June 30, 2025. (11:59 PM EDT)

  • End user talks Around GitOps Implementations
  • How to Implement Advanced Deployments
  • How to Solve Edge Cases Around GitOps
  • Stories of How GitOps Helped and Where Systems Broke Down
  • Comparisons of Open Source GitOps Tooling
  • Uses of Open Source Tooling to Achieve GitOps
  • Convincing Larger Org to Adopt GitOps
  • Interesting Use Cases for GitOps ie Edge, Machine Learning, etc.

Submission Types:

  • Presentation: 25 minutes with 1 or 2 speakers presenting on a topic
  • Panel Discussion: 35 minutes of discussion amongst 3 to 5 speakers (In an effort to promote speaker diversity, CNCF does not accept submissions with all-male panels, and three different organizations must be represented).
  • Lightning Talk: A brief 10 minute presentation with a maximum of 1 speaker
