Registration Types

Quick Note:
We never sell attendee lists or contact information, nor do we authorize others to do so. If you receive an email claiming to sell an attendee list for a Linux Foundation event, please forward it to events@linuxfoundation.org

Academics:
Academic and student registrations are for current full-time students, faculty/staff members. Those who qualify will need to upload a valid copy of their institution-issued ID showing the expiration date, current class transcript, OR proof of current employment showing they are a full-time student or faculty at the time of registration. If you have any questions, please contact registration@linuxfoundation.org.

Government:
Government registrations are for current full-time government personnel. Full-time government employees will need to upload a valid copy of their Government Employee Badge when registering. If you have any questions, please email events@linuxfoundation.org.

Hobbyists:
You may choose this selection if you are paying for yourself to attend this event and are currently active in the community. Please contact us at events@linuxfoundation.org to request the Hobbyist Fee access code. Note, there are a limited number of Hobbyist access codes available.

Small Business:
Our small business registration discount is available to companies that have less than $5 million in annual revenue AND less than 30 employees. Please contact us at events@linuxfoundation.org to request the Small Business Registration discount code.

You should have received a registration link in your acceptance email. If you did not, please contact cfp@linuxfoundation.org for more details.

Discounts

LF Members:
Linux Foundation Members are eligible to receive a 20% discount. Please email events@linuxfoundation.org to request the LF Member discount code.

Non-Profit Professionals:
Professionals who work at a tax-exempt organization as defined by the IRS may receive a 20% discount on the applicable, full-event registration rate. Please email events@linuxfoundation.org for a discount code. Please note: this discount may not be combined with any additional discounts. Professionals must submit proof of employment as a tax-exempt organization before receiving this discount.

Group Discounts:
If you have a group of 5 or more people, you can receive a 10% discount on all passes. All pass types must be the same, and all registrations must be processed under one group registration and must be paid with the same credit card. To create a group, select “Add Another Person” to your registration. When 5 or more people are added the 10% discount will be automatically applied. Please contact events@linuxfoundation.org for any questions.

LF Education Discounts:
The LF Education group of The Linux Foundation is pleased to offer discounts for event attendees of this event. The offer is only valid for new training purchases and cannot be applied to a previously purchased exam or bundle. Details on how to access and download the coupon will be provided via email to registered attendees during the event.

Invoices & Certificates of Attendance

Registration Invoices:
Invoice receipts are downloadable from the confirmation email you received after registering under the Payment Receipt Information section. If the downloadable invoice receipt does not meet your needs or you need to have your confirmation email resent, please submit a request. Please include any additional customization you need for your invoice receipt in the request.

Certificates of Attendance:
You can download your Certificate of Attendance directly from your LFX dashboard by navigating to the “Past Events” section in the LF Events column. Please Note: We verify attendance through the registration system, and certificates will only be available for download after the event is completed.

Refund Policy

Cancellations:
If you must cancel for any reason, please sign back into your registration, click the “Register/Modify” button, and select “Unregister.” Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received two weeks prior to the main event start date (including bulk ticket invoice requests, co-located events, and add-ons), and will appear as a credit on the card’s statement 7 – 10 business days after cancellation. Refunds can only be issued on the card the original payment was made.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.

Substitutions:
If you are unable to attend, you may substitute another attendee in lieu of cancellation. To substitute an attendee, sign back into your registration, click the “Register/Modify” button, and select “Transfer Registration” on your confirmation page.
