LF AI & Data Summit 2026

October 19

Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: To be confirmed
Registration Cost: $0

LF AI & Data logo

Join the LF AI & Data community at PyTorch Conference North America for a focused Mini Summit exploring how open source collaboration is shaping the next generation of AI.

The event will bring together developers, maintainers, researchers, practitioners, and technology leaders to share practical experience and explore the open technologies powering AI across the full lifecycle—from data and models to deployment, orchestration, observability, governance, and agentic systems.

Sessions will highlight technical innovation and real-world lessons across topics including agentic and multi-agent AI, MLOps and AI infrastructure, data and document intelligence, model inference and optimization, responsible AI, interoperability, and production deployments.

As AI systems become more complex, open source communities play a critical role in reducing fragmentation, improving interoperability, and giving developers greater choice and flexibility. The Summit will showcase projects and approaches helping organizations build scalable, trustworthy AI systems through open collaboration.

Whether you contribute to an open source project, build with PyTorch, operate AI infrastructure, or are moving AI applications into production, join us to learn from peers, discover technologies across the LF AI & Data ecosystem, and help shape a more open and interoperable future for AI.

Jupyter Day

October 19

Location: San Jose Convention Center
Registration Cost: $99

JupyterDay logo

Jupyter Day, co-located with PyTorch Conference North America, brings together the people shaping the future of interactive computing from data scientists and developers to researchers, educators, open source contributors, and tool builders. As AI transforms how we write code, explore data, conduct research, and build applications, Jupyter is becoming an increasingly important environment for bringing these workflows together.  This year’s event will explore how Jupyter is enabling new workflows across data science, scientific computing, visualization, education, AI, and beyond while continuing to advance open, reproducible, and accessible computing.

Through technical talks, hands-on sessions, community discussions, and real-world use cases, Jupyter Day will showcase both what’s possible today and what’s emerging next. From evolving notebook and developer experiences to reproducible research, interactive visualization, open standards, AI-assisted workflows, and new tools across the ecosystem ( or this: and new ways of interacting with data and models). Attendees will hear from Project Jupyter contributors and the broader community while exchanging ideas about the future of interactive computing.

How to Register: Pre-registration is required. Register for Jupyter Day as a stand alone event or add it to your PyTorch Conference North America registration.
