Sarthak is a software engineer at AWS. He has been contributing open-source projects like Valkey and OpenSearch. He is passionate about large-scale distributed databases and gets excited about associated aspects of performance.

Madelyn Olson is a co-creator and maintainer of Valkey, a high-performance key-value datastore, and Principal Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She focuses on building secure and highly reliable features, with a passion in working with open-source communities.

Ran is a Senior Software Engineer at AWS, working on Amazon ElastiCache. Before joining AWS over five years ago, he spent 20 years developing real-time embedded applications, Linux kernel core development, and building storage service applications — bringing deep systems-level expertise to his work on scaling in-memory data store technology used by customers worldwide.

Ran is a Technical Steering Committee (TSC) member and maintainer of valkey-io/valkey, the open-source, high-performance key/value datastore. In that role he helps steer the project’s technical direction and contributes to the core engine that powers Valkey’s reliability and performance.

Jacob is a member of the Valkey Technical Steering Committee and an engineer on Google Cloud’s Memorystore team.

Zhao Zhao is a member of the Valkey Technical Steering Committee and works on Tair at Alibaba Cloud. He has contributed to the open source key-value database ecosystem since 2017. He currently focuses on unlocking new value for Valkey across AI applications and AI infrastructure, including semantic caching, vector search, and agent memory.
