  • Preethi Thomas headshot

    Preethi Thomas is an Engineering leader at Red Hat where she is responsible for some of the core technologies. She has been part of Open Source for over 15 years and has rich experience working with upstream communities and projects. She is highly passionate about Diversity and Inclusion and actively participates in outreach.

  • Phil Estes headshot

    Phil is a Principal Engineer for Amazon Web Services (AWS), focused on core container technologies that power AWS container offerings like Fargate, EKS, and ECS. Phil is currently an active contributor and maintainer for the CNCF containerd runtime project, and participates in the Open Container Initiative (OCI) as the member of the Technical Oversight Board (TOB). Phil has also been a long-time core contributor and maintainer on the Docker/Moby engine
    project where he contributed key features like user namespace support and multi-platform image capabilities.

    Phil enjoys helping others understand and apply container and cloud native concepts and speaks worldwide at industry conferences and meetups, and is a member of the CNCF Ambassadors program. He maintains a blog on container topics at https://integratedcode.us and you can find him on Twitter tweeting away as @estesp.

  • Akihiro Suda headshot

    Akihiro Suda is a software engineer at NTT Corporation, a Japan-based telecommunication company. He has been a maintainer of several opensource container software such as Moby, BuildKit, containerd, runc, and Lima. He has previously talked at several FLOSS conferences such as KubeCon, DockerCon, FOSDEM, ApacheCon, and Open Source Summit.

  • Urvashi Mohnani headshot

    Urvashi Mohnani is a Principal Software Engineer on the OpenShift Container Tools team at Red Hat. She has spent the last few years contributing to and maintainer open source container tools projects including podman, buidlah, cri-o, and skopeo. She is a co-organizer of DevConf.US and has given talks in conferences such as KubeCon and SCaLE.

  • Josh Berkus headshot

    Josh Berkus, one of the founders of the Container Plumbing Days event, has been messing about with containers since the first public release of Docker (and did Solaris Zones and FreeBSD jails before that). He works on Kubernetes for Red Hat, chairs a TAG for the CNCF, and is an OSI Board member. Josh lives in Portland, OR.

    Peter Hunt is a Senior Software Engineer working at Red Hat. Passionate about free software, Peter focuses on maintaining CRI-O, attending SIG node, and ~writing~ squashing bugs. Outside of the virtual world, Peter likes collecting floral-printed pants, baking, and dancing.

  • Chris Aniszczyk headshot

    Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

    At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. In a previous life, he bootstrapped a consulting company, made many mistakes, lead and hacked on many eclipse.org and Linux related projects
