Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. In a previous life, he bootstrapped a consulting company, made many mistakes, lead and hacked on many eclipse.org and Linux related projects

Christine is the CEO/cofounder of Honeycomb, an observability tool for teams who build and manage software that matters.

She cares deeply about bridging the gap between devs and ops with technological and cultural improvements—and thinks that observability is really just a way to do in production what software engineers have done forever: check whether the expected behavior is actually happening, and investigate when something weird is happening.

Vijay Samuel works with eBay’s Reliability Engineering as its architect. During his time at eBay Vijay has transformed eBay’s observability platform into a cloud native offering that is primarily built on top of open source technologies. He loves to code in Go and play video games.

A tech enthusiast who thrives on steering projects from their initial spark to successful fruition, Rob Koch is Principal at Slalom Build, AWS Hero, and Co-chair of the CNCF Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group. His expertise in architecting event-driven systems is firmly rooted in the belief that data should be harnessed in real time. Rob relishes the challenge of examining existing systems and mapping the journey towards an event-driven architecture.

Architect, engineer, and strategic visionary for application platforms in the cloud. Core contributor to Kubernetes and OpenShift, the open source platform as a service and the containerized cluster manager. I helped launch the shift to cloud native applications and the platforms that enable them. At Google my mission is to make Kubernetes and GKE the best place to run workloads, especially accelerated AI/ML workloads!

Jiaxin works at ByteDance Infrastructure Lab, focusing on serverless and AI infrastructure. He is also a co-chair of Kubernetes WG-Serving, Jiaxin drives innovations and contributes to the future of scalable AI systems.

Eddie Knight is a Software and Cloud Engineer with a background in banking technology. When he isn’t playing with his 2-year-old son, he combines his passion and job duties by working to improve the security of open source software.

Eddie helps lead CNCF’s Security Technical Advisory Group, the FINOS Technical Oversight Committee, the OpenSSF Security Baseline, and the FINOS Common Cloud Controls project.

Michael Lieberman is co-founder and CTO of Kusari where he helps build transparency and security in the software supply chain. Michael is an active member of the open-source community, co-creating the GUAC and FRSCA projects and co-leading the CNCF’s Secure Software Factory Reference Architecture whitepaper. He is an elected member of the OpenSSF Governing Board and Technical Advisory Council along with CNCF TAG Security Lead and an SLSA steering committee member.

Carolina Lindqvist is a System Specialist at the EPFL SCITAS department for Scientific Computing and High Performance Computing (HPC). She works with Kubernetes infrastructure for scientific use cases. Before joining SCITAS, Carolina worked at the Blue Brain Project, startups and at CERN. In her free time she enjoys games (board games, video games, RPGs…) and rope climbing.

Joseph is a Principal Product Manager at Adobe Inc. with the Developer Productivity team for over six years. He leads the development of Adobe’s cloud-native platform, leveraging his decade-long end user expertise in Kubernetes. Currently serving as one of the CNCF End User Technical Advisory Board members, he shares his strategic insights and learnings with the community and project teams. Joseph is also a member of Kubernetes SIG-Release, serving as a Release Manager Associate, contributing to five release teams, and has been an emeritus advisor. Passionate about open-source and its impact on his career, he is dedicated to mentoring those just starting in the field.

Faseela is a cloud-native developer at Ericsson Software Technology, Istio Service Mesh maintainer and a twice-elected member of the Istio Steering Committee, driving its Security, Test and Release, and Documentation functions. She is a CNCF Ambassador, LFX Mentor, contributor to the CNCF “ICA – Istio Certified Associate” examination, and the winner of the prestigious CNCF “Chop Wood Carry Water” award, 2023. She is also the co-author of the CNCF Istio Children’s illustrated book – “Izzy saves the Birthday”. She is one of the organizers of Cloud Native Aachen – the official CNCF Chapter of Aachen, Germany. Faseela is a key member driving the 5G transformation of Ericsson, designing Cloud Native Network Functions and bridging the gap between telco and opensource. Her association with opensource starts with OpenDaylight, one of the Linux Foundation’s earliest collaborative opensource projects, where she has served in the Technical Steering Committee for many years. Early in her career, she has served as a maintainer in the Linux Foundation Infrastructure, enabling the required tooling for several LF projects. She was also actively involved in shaping some of the SDN enabler standards like OpenFlow, and Network Service Header (NSH) in Service Chaining, EVPN and BGP for Telco world. In the recent years, Faseela has served as the event co-chair for both the IstioDays co-located with KubeCon in 2023 and has been a Program Committee member at several KubeCons.

Kasper is a Developer Relations Engineer at Dash0, where he is thrilled to step into the observability space. He looks forward to promoting open standards with OpenTelemetry and Perses, helping teams gain deeper insights into their systems. Previously, Kasper served as a Staff Platform Engineer at Lunar.

He is a CNCF Ambassador, Kubestronaut, Community Group Organizer, KCD Organizer, and Co-founder of the Nordic meetup alliance, Cloud Native Nordics. Kasper is passionate about open source, community building, and all things Cloud Native—whether it’s diving deep into Kubernetes or integrating projects to craft exceptional developer experiences.

Kasper has been an active contributor to the CNCF community almost since its inception. One of his early contributions was his master’s thesis, “KubeCloud – A Small-Scale Cloud Computing Environment,” which explored how universities could use small-scale cloud environments, built with Raspberry Pis running Kubernetes, to educate on the emerging paradigm of Cloud Native computing.
