I’d like to attend the upcoming Open Networking & Edge Summit North America taking place April 20 – 21, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. I’ve researched many conferences and found that this is the industry’s PREMIER Open Networking event now expanded to comprehensively cover Edge Computing, Edge Cloud & IoT.
Nearly 2,000 talented individuals from across the ecosystem will gather to share learnings, highlight innovation, and discuss the future of open source networking — including Open Networking & AI/ML-enabled use cases for 5G, IoT, Edge and Enterprise deployment and targeted discussions on Edge/IoT Frameworks and Blueprints across Manufacturing, Retail, Oil and Gas, Transportation and Telco Edge cloud among other key areas.
Here’s how I envision my attendance at Open Networking & Edge Summit North America strengthening our company:
- Open Networking & Edge Summit North America offers a variety of sessions, including presentations, hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices, find out more on how Networking is revolutionizing hot markets like AI/ML, Containers, Microservices, and IoT and learn how multiple Open Source and Open Standards Initiatives are all coming together. ONES is the only event where I can hear from hear from developers in Open Source, Open Standards and Open Ecosystem across Networking and Edge.
- The infamous “hallway track” at Open Networking & Edge Summit North America will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.
You can learn more about the conference and view last year’s keynotes and other videos here.
If I register before March 10, 2020, the fee is only $950. Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the onsite reception and other networking events.
I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned, and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.
