Dear {Name},
I’d like to attend the upcoming Open Source Summit North America 2025 taking place June 23–25 in Denver, Colorado. This is the premier event for open source developers, technologists, and community leaders to collaborate, share information, solve problems, and gain knowledge, furthering open source innovation and ensuring a sustainable open source ecosystem.
This event will bring together a diverse and talented group of individuals from across the ecosystem to share learnings, highlight innovation, and discuss the future of open source — including topics such as cdCon, Cloud & Containers, Embedded Linux, Linux, Open Source 101, OSPOCon, Safety Critical Software, TechDocs, Zephyr, Open Source Leadership, New & Emerging Open Source Projects, and much more.
Here’s how my attendance at Open Source Summit North America 2025 can benefit our company:
- Expand Knowledge and Expertise: The summit offers a wide range of sessions, including hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes. These sessions provide invaluable opportunities to learn from industry leaders and community members, helping us stay ahead of trends and best practices.
- Build Strategic Connections: The informal “hallway track” creates space for networking with the top technical minds in the ecosystem. These conversations can lead to strategic partnerships and collaborative problem-solving, which can help us overcome challenges and foster future opportunities.
You can learn more about the conference and explore highlights from last year’s event, including keynotes and videos here.
If I register before April 7, the fee is $699. This cost includes access to all keynotes and sessions, the sponsor showcase, continental breakfast, lunches, morning and afternoon breaks. Additionally, the registration covers evening events such as the attendee reception, the onsite reception, Tux Trek, and other valuable networking opportunities.
To maximize the value of my attendance, I’ll provide a post-conference report summarizing key learnings and actionable insights that can be applied to our work.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need more details. I’m confident this opportunity will deliver a strong return on investment for our team.
Thank you for considering this request.
Sincerely,
{Your Name}
