Dear {Name},

I’d like to attend the upcoming OpenJS World 2020 taking place June 23-24, in Austin, Texas. I’ve researched many conferences and believe this is the best way to immerse myself in the JavaSript community through collaboration, networking, and shared experiences.  Nearly 750 talented individuals will gather to share learnings, highlight innovation, and discuss the future of the JavaScript ecosystem.

Here’s how I envision my attendance at OpenJS World strengthening our company:

  • OpenJS World 2020 offers a variety of sessions, including presentations, hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices and find out more on emerging trends in JavaScript architectures.
  • The infamous “hallway track” at OpenJS World 2020  will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.

You can learn more about the conference and view last year’s keynotes and other videos here.

If I register before March 31, the fee is only $350. Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the evening events, including the onsite reception, and other networking events.  If the event is canceled due to the COVID-19/Novel Coronavirus situation, my registration is fully refundable.

I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned, and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.
