Dear {Name},
I’d like to attend the upcoming Open Source Strategy Forum London 2022 taking place July 13, in London, United Kingdom. I’ve researched many conferences and found that this is the ONLY conference dedicated to driving collaboration and innovation in financial services through open source software and standards.
Nearly 400 talented individuals from across the ecosystem will gather to share learnings, highlight innovation, and engage in stimulating and thought-provoking conversations about how to best (and safely) leverage open source software to solve industry challenges.
Here’s how I envision my attendance at Open Source Strategy Forum London 2021 strengthening our company:
- Open Source in Finance Forum offers a variety of sessions, including presentations, hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices. Session topics will include Building Successful & Sustainable OSS Communities, Hot Topics for OSS in Finance, Developing Open Source Maturity in an Organization, and more .
- The infamous “hallway track” at Open Soruce in Finance Forum will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.
You can learn more about the conference and view last year’s keynotes and other videos here.
If I register before May 17, 2022, the fee is only 175£. Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor showcase, hallway track, continental breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks, and entrance to the onsite reception.
I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned, and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.
Thanks,
{Your Name}
