I’d like to attend the upcoming Open Source Summit Europe taking place September 13-16, in Dublin, Ireland. I’ve researched many conferences and found that this is the ONLY technical AND business conference for open source developers, technologists, and community leaders to collaborate, share information, solve problems, and gain knowledge. Open Source Summit is a conference umbrella, composed of a collection of events covering the most important technologies, topics, and issues affecting open source today.
Nearly 1,500 talented individuals from across the ecosystem will gather to share learnings, highlight innovation, and discuss the future of open source innovation to ensure a sustainable open source ecosystem continues to grow.
Here’s how I envision my attendance at Open Source Summit Europe 2022strengthening our company:
- Open Source Summit Europe offers a variety of sessions, including presentations, hands-on tutorials, deep-dive technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices.
- The infamous “hallway track” at Open Source Summit Europe will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.

If I register before July 12, the fee is only $850. Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the evening events, including the onsite reception, and other networking events.
I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.
