Morning Yoga and Meditation

Begin Day 1 with a calm, energized mind by participating in the morning yoga and meditation session. The class will be led by a trained instructor and is a mindful way to start your day! Complimentary towels will be provided, or you can bring your own. Please be sure to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

We know what it feels like to attend a conference for the first time, and we want to help make that experience a little easier for our first-time attendees. Meet other newcomers, as well as Open Source Summit North America veterans, at this informal breakfast. In addition, pick up invaluable tips and tricks on how to best navigate the event.

Ask the Expert Sessions

Tuesday, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAY 19, 20, & 21 SEPTEMBER

Location: Sponsor Showcase, Floor 0

Ask the Expert Sessions is an opportunity for attendees to connect with subject matter experts to ask questions and seek guidance. The set-up is informal, with the experts sitting at reserved tables in an “open-office” setting. Participating experts will be available during 30-minute time frames allowing attendees to ‘drop by’ to talk to them during those times. Come sit down with some open source experts to gain knowledge 1:1 and ask all your pressing questions! No sign-up necessary.

Don’t forget your running gear for the Fun “Run” in Bilbao, Spain! This inclusive activity offers three pace groups: walking, jogging, and running.

Led by local guides, we’ll explore Bilbao’s iconic landmarks. Immerse yourself in Bilbao’s culture as we go by the Guggenheim Museum and the Zubizuri Bridge. The tour will start and finish at the Meliá Bilbao and our guides will share captivating stories along the way.

Get ready to experience the charm and splendor of Bilbao on this unforgettable tour!

There is no cost to participate and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scenic Bilbao Boat Tour

Location:  Bilboko Itsas Museoa, Ramón de la Sota Kaia, 1, 48013 Bilbo, Bizkaia, Spain

Registration Cost: Complimentary – We will do our best to accommodate all interested attendees, but please note that participation is on a first-come, first-served basis the morning of and there are limited seats available.

Embark on a captivating boat tour from the Bilboko Itsas Museoa (Maritime Museum Bilbao) pier, exploring the outskirts of the iconic Zubizuri Bridge. Departing at 7:00 in the morning and lasting approximately 1 hour, this tour offers panoramic views of the city and an up-close encounter with the architectural marvel of the city. Recorded guided tour provides insightful commentary as you sail through tranquil waters.
