Venue + Hotel Information

Open Networking & Edge Summit 2025 is hosted alongside KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe, and will take place at:

Excel London
Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway
London E16 1XL, United Kingdom

Please note, hotel rooms will most likely sell out. We encourage you to book early to secure a room at the conference rate. Please visit our Venue & Travel page for more information.

Schedule, Timing + Speaker Profiles

The current schedule is posted on our website using sched.com. The final schedule will be announced in early March. Until then, schedule timing is subject to change, and we kindly request that you hold 9:00 – 17:30 on 31 March.

You will receive an email directly from sched.com asking you to create your account; please be sure to follow the instructions in the email in order to make updates to your speaker profile and upload a copy of your presentation slides.

If you have any conflicts on 31 March, or need to make any updates to your speaker profile, please contact Carolyn Ingalls.

AV Details + Requirements

Please note the following technical requirements:

  • Speakers will not use their laptops to present. All speakers must upload their presentation slides to this folder by Friday, 28 March.
  • Presentation slides should be formatted in 16:9 and shared as a PowerPoint or Google Slides file.
  • The room will include a screen, projector, and (1) microphone for each speaker. Panelists may share microphones.
  • If you require any additional AV, please email Carolyn Ingalls with those needs by Friday, 28 February. The Linux Foundation will make every effort to accommodate other AV needs; however, final approval for additional AV requests will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Presentation Details + Powerpoint Template

All speakers are required to also upload their final presentation slides by Friday, 28 March, in two places:

1.) Upload presentation slides as a PowerPoint or Google Slides file to this folder so that our AV team can access and project your slides during your talk. Speakers will not use their personal laptops to present.

2.) Upload presentation slides as a PDF to sched.com. In addition to providing a hard copy for accessibility purposes, we find that adding the presentations before the event helps to drive interest in attending the session.

To upload slides, follow these instructions (guide with screenshots):

  • Log into your speaker profile through Sched.com
  • On the top of the page, click “Manage and Promote Your Session”
  • Click “Add Presentation”
  • Click in the “Select a File” box and add the PDF document (note: there is a 50MB size limit)
  • Click “Upload” and your slides will automatically be saved
  • Or, you can send the PDF to cfp@linuxfoundation.org, and we will upload the file on your behalf.

An optional PowerPoint template is available to download here. Use of the template is optional.

INCLUSIVE SPEAKER ORIENTATION COURSE

The Linux Foundation, in collaboration with the National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT), has created an online course designed to teach the viewer about inclusion, diversity, and unconscious bias. We highly recommend all of our speakers watch the course to learn tips/tools to use when speaking to encourage inclusivity in presentations and messaging.

Promote Your Talk

To help promote your session, we’ve created sample LinkedIn posts and customizable speaker card templates on Canva.

How to use the Canva templates:

  • Click here for the Canva templates and create a login to access the templates.
  • Choose your preferred design.
  • Add your headshot, session title, and any co-speakers. Upload and drag your photo into the circles.
  • Download and share it on LinkedIn

Code of Conduct

Please read, and abide, by our Code of Conduct. Our code of conduct is strictly enforced. We ask that speakers especially review this code of conduct and are careful to be inclusive in the words and images used during their presentations.
