If you’re visiting San Francisco for the first time, there are some things you should know. San Francisco is known for having some of the steepest streets in the world so be prepared for hills! If walking isn’t your style, one of the most iconic things to do in San Francisco is to take a ride on a cable car. The cable cars are an important part of the city’s history and offer great views of the city.

When you’re in San Francisco, be sure to check out Fisherman’s Wharf, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the city. It’s known for its seafood restaurants, souvenir shops, and sea lion colony.

The city has more than 3,000 restaurants, making it one of the top foodie destinations in the world. San Francisco is known for its food scene, with everything from seafood to dim sum to sourdough bread. Some local favorites include clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl and Mission-style burritos.

Also, be sure to bring layers because San Francisco’s weather can be unpredictable, with cool temperatures and frequent fog. It’s a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater, even in the summer!
