Cloud Native Telco Day

Network Service Providers and Telco operators are rapidly adopting the latest CNCF technologies and transforming their infrastructure to become agile and address end user demands. While doing so they are blurring the lines between the network and the Cloud, creating synergy opportunities between the CNCF ecosystem and the Networking industry verticals.

The Cloud Native Telco Day brings together the Networking and Cloud Native open source communities, where telecom operators ,vendors and Cloud Service Providers collaborate with the to share lessons learned and new concepts applicable across both worlds.

Cloud Native Telco Day topics include:

• War stories: Share your cloud native war stories – victories or challenges.
• Dream big: Share your visions on the ongoing adoption of cloud native in telecom.
• Sustainability: Discuss ways to reduce the telecom industry’s environmental impact using cloud native tech.
• Networking in and with Kubernetes: Networking is key for telecom. Share your best practices for making Kubernetes network native.
• Integrate: Telecom involves many vendors. Share ideas to reduce integration costs and integrations stories.

Submission Types:

• Presentation: 25 minutes with 1 or 2 speakers presenting on a topic
• Panel Discussion: 35 minutes of discussion amongst 3 to 5 speakers (In an effort to promote speaker diversity, CNCF does not accept submissions with all-male panels, and three different organizations must be represented).
• Lightning Talk: A brief 10 minute presentation with a maximum of 1 speaker
