Hosted Social Activities Program
Lake Tahoe offers many exciting activities you can partake in during your visit. The following activities will be hosted by the Linux Foundation and roundtrip transportation will be provided for LFMS attendees from the Resort at Squaw Creek. Space is limited for all activities, so book early to ensure your participation!
Please note that participants must be registered for the event and have their event badge with them.
Monday Hosted Activities
Join us on Monday, November 7th, 2022 for an activity pre-summit! Click here to register.
Guided Snowshoe Hike | 10:00am – 11:30am
Hiking Difficulty: easy
Join an experienced guide on a Snowshoe Hike to and from the resort and enjoy the weather of the season. All equipment needed for the activities will be provided but please bring a high ankle-supported boot and a pair of wool socks.
Drop-In Games & Networking | 1:00 – 4:00pm
Drop in to pay cornhole or ladder ball while networking with fellow attendees. Complimentary refreshments provided.
Wine & History Tour | 2:00 – 6:00pm – FULL
Must be 21 or older to participate
Join us as we explore the surrounding wine scene and learn about the local history of the valley.
Guided Cross Country Skiing Adventure | 3:00 – 5:00pm
Hiking Difficulty: moderate to strenuous
Join us as we cross-country ski with the assistance of experienced guides. Come prepared with extra layers and be rewarded with breathtaking views of Olympic Valley! All equipment needed for the activities will be provided, including ski boots.
