Priyanka is the Executive Director of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) which serves as the vendor-neutral home for 100+ of the fastest-growing open source projects, including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Envoy. She is also a co-creator of the Inclusive Naming Initiative whose mission is to promote and facilitate replacing harmful and exclusionary language in information technology.

She was a founding team member of the OpenTracing standard and has contributed to other open source projects such as Jaeger, Vitess, and GitLab. Priyanka is a long time champion of and advisor to startups in cutting-edge technology spaces and serves as an Advisor at HeavyBit Industries, an accelerator and fund for developer and enterprise companies.

Kevin Klues is a distinguished engineer on the NVIDIA Cloud Native team. Kevin has been involved in the design and implementation of a number of Kubernetes technologies, including the Topology Manager, the Kubernetes stack for Multi-Instance GPUs, and Dynamic Resource Allocation (DRA). When not working, you can usually find Kevin on a snowboard or up in the mountains in some capacity or another.

Sanjay Chatterjee is an engineering manager at NVIDIA. He works on GPU compute infrastructure with a focus on GPU scheduling to enable DL/AI and HPC workloads scale on Kubernetes. Previously he worked on multiple DoE/DARPA funded advanced technology projects towards designing the first exascale systems. His research interests include novel programming models, parallel languages and runtime systems. He holds a PhD from Rice University. When not working, he likes to travel the world with his family.

Jorge is the Principal PM Lead for AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) where he serves thousands of customers and mission critical application and helped lead the service to become the fastest growing service in Azure’s history. Formerly he was the Technical Lead for App Dev and DevOps with the Azure Global Black Belt team and has implemented and architected solutions in Azure since 2012, spanning across different roles from Services, Tech Evangelism and Tech Sales. He holds a MSc in Computer Engineering and has a mix of Dev and Ops background having worked as a full-stack developer before moving to a system administrator and later to a DevOps engineer role prior to joining Microsoft. He has founded two startups with successful exit throughout his career and has a passion for helping organizations and individuals grow and succeed leveraging the cloud and Kubernetes.

Lu Qiu is the PMC maintainer of the Alluxio open-source project and is the AI Platform Tech Lead at Alluxio.
Lu is responsible for deeply cooperating with the open-source community to integrate Alluxio with deep learning training in the cloud. Lu received an M.S. degree from George Washington University in Data Science.

Susan is an Outbound Product Manager at Google Cloud. She previously led product and technical marketing roles at Sun/Oracle, Canonical, Docker, Citrix, Midokura (SDN startup now part of Sony Group), VMware NSX and Tanzu Service Mesh. She is a frequent speaker at conferences such as OSCON, Open Source Summit, Container World, Interop, Open Networking Summit and VMworld. Architect, engineer, and strategic visionary for application platforms in the cloud.  Core contributor to Kubernetes and OpenShift, the open source platform as a service and the containerized cluster manager.  I helped launch the shift to cloud native applications and the platforms that enable them.  At Google my mission is to make Kubernetes and GKE the best place to run workloads, especially accelerated AI/ML workloads!

Victor Jakubiuk is an AI entrepreneur and the Head of AI at Ampere Computing. Victor is a pioneer in the AI industry and has decades of experience building AI software solutions. Victor has a MS & BS in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and he is based in San Francisco, CA.

Ricardo is a Computing Engineer at CERN IT focusing on containerized deployments, networking and more recently machine learning platforms. He has led for several years the internal effort to transition services and workloads to use cloud native technologies, as well as dissemination and training efforts. Ricardo got CERN to join the CNCF and is a member of the Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) and a lead of the CNCF Research User Group. Prior to this work Ricardo helped develop the grid computing infrastructure serving the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).

Nikhita is a staff software engineer at VMware and a maintainer of the Kubernetes project. She is a member of the CNCF Technical Oversight Committee and has won the CNCF Top Committer Award in 2021 for her technical contributions. She is currently the technical lead for Kubernetes SIG Contributor Experience and was also a member of the Kubernetes Steering Committee. Nikhita has been featured in Business Insider as one the ‘top 21 developers transforming Silicon Valley’.

Rajas is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware and a Tech Lead of Technical Advisory Group, Runtime in CNCF. He is currently serving as the Co-Chair for Cloud Native AI Day Paris 2024. He is active in the AI and WASM working groups in the CNCF landscape and a contributor to the Kubernetes project.

Patrick Ohly is a software engineer at Intel GmbH, Germany. In the past he has worked on performance analysis software for HPC clusters (“Intel Trace Analyzer and Collector”) and cluster technology in general (PTP and hardware time stamping). Since January 2009 he has worked for Intel on open source projects: originally SyncEvolution, a spare-time project he started in 2005, later Linux distributions for netbooks, phones, IVI and embedded, and now Kubernetes.

Yuzhui Liu leads a strong and dynamic engineering team at Bloomberg, which is focused on providing managed solutions for model training, notebook, and HPC infrastructure. She collaborates widely in the CNCF community, was a contributor to KServe, and is the co-chair for Cloud Native AI Day. She also initiated the effort to introduce Argo into Bloomberg, where it is used as a managed workflow orchestration platform.

Leon Zhou is a software engineer on the Data Science Platform engineering team at Bloomberg. With prior experience in ML during his time at ByteDance and the University of Pennsylvania, he is now working on platform engineering to facilitate machine learning development, as well as building HPC infrastructure. He is interested in building state-of-the-art ML infrastructure to enable large-scale training and complex pipelines, as well as ML systems in general.

I work on infrastructure tools that enable innovation. I specialize in Kubernetes, Terraform, public clouds, and distributed systems. You can also find me buried deep in a book. preparing a technical talk, or going for a run with the dogs.

Fabian Deutsch has been working in open source for quite a while, Initially gaining experience in the Linux plumbing layer, and image building, he later focused on the virtualization stack, and recently joined the container track.

Gualter is a platform strategist and enabler with over 25 years experience in Linux and FLOSS. He worked as a Product Owner within multiple platform teams. Driven by a passion for sustainability, Gualter draws from his unique academic journey in environmental engineering, complemented by a PhD in ecological economics. He is dedicated to shedding light on the ecological impact of digitalization and empowering developers to make informed decisions for sustainable practices in their daily work.

Aparna Subramanian is a technologist and cloud-native enthusiast. She started her career as a Software Engineer and has spent most part of her 18 years of experience specializing in Infrastructure and Data Platforms. She serves as co-chair of the “CNCF End User Developer Experience” SIG. She is passionate about building inclusive communities where everyone knows their voices will be heard. She is currently Director of Production Engineering at Shopify where she leads Shopify’s Cloud Native Production Platform. Previously, she was Director of Engineering at VMware where she was a founding member of Tanzu on vSphere, a Kubernetes Platform for the hybrid cloud. When not working, Aparna enjoys baking, gardening, and yoga.

Solomon Hykes is the co-founder and CEO of Dagger.io, the first programmable CI/CD engine. Before that, he was the co-founder of Docker, where he served for 10 years as CEO then CTO, and a founding member of the CNCF Technical Oversight Committee. Solomon grew up in France, and now lives in San Francisco.

Sudha has been at Oracle for the last five years, leading the Observability and SIEM services organization for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Her teams manage Logging, Monitoring, SIEM, and Inventory services. She loves the challenges of running two of the largest scale services across OCI. Sudha is also a founding committee member of the Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) Seattle chapter, and is involved in many mentoring activities. Prior to Oracle she worked at Microsoft for 14 years in a variety of roles.

Kasper is a Cloud Native Computing Foundation Ambassador, and co-founder of the Nordic meetup alliance, Cloud Native Nordics, where he serves as Community Lead. He works as Lead Platform Architect at Lunar. He has worked at Lunar for 6 years, and is one of the architects behind the platform Lunar operates on today. Kasper wrote his master thesis, “KubeCloud – A Small Scale Cloud Computing Environment”, on how Universities could leverage small-scale cloud environments built out of Raspberry Pis running Kubernetes.

For many years now, I have been a strong advocate for the development and promotion of free and open-source software. My passion for this cause has led me to actively participate in various initiatives, such as organizing the Cloud Native Luxembourg meetups and being part of the French localization team of CNCF Glossary. I’m dedicated to promoting the benefits of open-source software, believing it to be more secure, reliable, and conducive to innovation. Additionally, I leverage my expertise to help teams harness cloud-native technologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Andrea is a technical consultant passionate about infrastructure, cloud, and automation. After working at CERN in Geneva, he moved to Berlin, Amsterdam, and now lives in Paris. Throughout his career, he worked in different roles, from an individual contributor building infrastructure as code to an engineering manager growing a team from the ground up.

He likes to space from technical consulting to organizing workshops, training, and meetups about Kubernetes and cloud technologies. Over the past years, he has been involved with the community as a CNCF Ambassador and public speaker.

Jinhong is a highly skilled cloud and platform developer/architect, with a strong passion for DevSecOps practice and cloud-native technologies. She holds an MSc. in Software Development and Technology, and is certified as a Kubernetes application developer, administrator, and security specialist.

Currently serving as the Chief Cloud Architect at Saxo Bank, Jinhong works to bridge the gap between platform and application teams, with a focus on strengthening infrastructure platform offerings, improving the developer experience and maximizing productivity. She is a strong advocate for sustainable and secure ways of developing and managing applications and integrations.

Jinhong’s passion for open source technology and community building has led her to become the organizer for the Cloud Native Copenhagen group, where she helps to spread awareness of open source technologies and grow the cloud-native community in Denmark.

A third-generation deaf individual, Anastasiia works as an SRE/DevOps Engineer at BT Group, a multinational UK-based telecommunications company.

Anastasiia is an active member of the CNCF Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group, a co-organizer of the Deaf in Cloud Native meetup group, and spearheads a Deaf IT community in Ukraine. She is passionate about promoting diversity in technology and aims to help increase deaf participation. She encourages her deaf peers to attend conferences and speak at industry events to increase representation and push for a more inclusive environment where diverse voices are not only heard but valued.

At BT Group, Anastasiia optimizes software delivery and infrastructure tooling through cloud-native technologies.

Lin is the Director of Open-Source at Solo.io. She has worked on Istio service mesh since 2017 and serves on the Istio Technical Oversight Committee. Previously, she served on the Istio Steering Committee for three years and was a Senior Technical Staff Member and Master Inventor at IBM for 15+ years. She is the author of the book “Istio Explained” and has more than 200 patents to her name.

As a member of the CNCF TOC, Cathy has been sponsoring and guiding projects’ applications for graduation/incubating, and reviewing/approving new sandbox projects. She has been a committee member for several KubeCon. Cathy is a currently Senior Principal Engineer at Intel, leading the development of high-performance cloud SW stacks and solutions. She has over 20 years of software development experience covering serverless, VM/container scheduling, edge computing, container runtime, etc.

Professionally trained in history; don’t tell him, because he’s professionally suffered in distributed applications for the past 20 years or so. A veteran of OSS wars inside the megacorp, he’s thrived as the world changed. He runs Ubuntu at work, except for those times when he does not. The Microsoft board member at the Bytecode Alliance Foundation, he’s currently responsible for VS Code’s Kubernetes extension, CNCF’s Porter, and WebAssembly infrastructure at Azure Core.

Chief architect of HUAWEI CLOUD, Huawei Fellow, and director of the cloud architecture innovation lab. Led the architecture planning and design of Huawei public cloud, industry cloud/dedicated cloud, partner cloud full-stack solutions, and infrastructure as a service (IaaS), as well as the planning and design of the cloud operating system software FusionSphere. In addition, the solution has been put into large-scale commercial use in various industries and target government and enterprise customers around the world.

David Meder-Marouelli is a systems architect and expert for Continuous Delivery. After several positions in the web hosting environment he currently works at 1&1 Mail & Media since 2015. In this position he is responsible as the Product Owner for the design and development of the central platform for automating all aspects of the software artifact life cycle.

Todd Ekenstam is a Principal Engineer at Intuit, building a platform for secure, multi-tenant Kubernetes infrastructure. Todd has worked on various large-scale distributed systems projects during his career, ranging from hierarchical storage management, peer-to-peer database replication, enterprise storage virtualization, two-factor authentication SaaS, and Kubernetes clusters. Todd is co-author of the book “GitOps and Kubernetes” and is co-chair of the CNCF Developer Experience/End-user SIG.

Davanum Srinivas (a.k.a Dims) is a Principal Engineer with AWS working full time on Kubernetes and related projects at CNCF. At CNCF, Dims has served as a member of the Technical Oversight Committee and as the chair and represented the TOC on the CNCF Governing Board. In Kubernetes project, Dims has served on the Kubernetes Steering Committee and actively involved in various Kubernetes SIGs and working groups like the Architecture, Testing, Node, Infrastructure etc.

Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. Bob Wise is the EVP and CEO for Heroku at Salesforce.com. Heroku, a platform as a service (PaaS), enables developers to build, run, and operate applications on the cloud. Prior to his time at Salesforce, Bob was the GM for EKS, EKS-A, ROSA and was responsible for the Amazon OSPO.
