#CNTelcoDay

Communication and Digital Service providers are rapidly adopting the latest CNCF technologies, transforming their infrastructure to become more agile to address end user demands with no compromise on security. AI and Agentic AI systems are not only blurring the lines between the network and the Cloud, but also introducing intelligent automation that enables autonomous network operations and self-optimizing infrastructure. This creates new synergy opportunities between the CNCF ecosystem, AI-driven fields, and industry verticals. CNCF is at the heart of cloud native open source enabling technologies that will realize the AI driven Telco and realise digital experiences of the future. The Cloud Native Telco Day brings together the networking and cloud native open source communities, where the Telco industry collaborates with the CNCF community to share lessons learned and new concepts applicable across both worlds.

Cloud Native Telco Day topics include:

  • Experiences: Share your cloud native experiences — victories or challenges.
  • Dream Big: Share your visions on the ongoing adoption of cloud native in telecom.
  • AI / Agentic AI: Shape the future together! Share your vision or use cases related to usage of AI and agentic systems in telecom networks. Share ideas or experiences related to Telco operating models evolution with AI or Telco monetization opportunities with AI
  • Sustainability: Discuss ways to reduce the telecom industry’s environmental impact using cloud native tech.
  • Networking in and with Kubernetes: Networking is key for telecom. Share your best practices for making Kubernetes network native.
  • Cloud native orchestration: Share ideas about how cloud native changes management and orchestration of telco. Share how you envision the introduction of concepts like GitOps or config as code in the telecom networks.
  • Runtime evolution: Share your vision about the evolution of different runtime technologies. Container runtimes, Kubevirt, WASM, KataContainers are all different approaches to provide runtime environment to workloads. Share how you envision the evolution of these.
  • Integrate: Telecom involves many vendors. Share ideas to reduce integration costs and your integration stories.
  • Telco monetization opportunities and DevRel in telcos: With changing landscape of AI and open source, how telcos envision opportunities for monetization. Programmable networks is an emerging concept in Telco, share your ideas about building developer communities to build applications on top of these networks.

Submission Types:
