Chris Aniszczyk is an open source executive and engineer with a passion for building a better world through open collaboration. He’s currently a CTO at the Linux Foundation focused on developer relations and running the Open Container Initiative (OCI) / Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, he’s a partner at Capital Factory where he focuses on mentoring, advising and investing in open source and infrastructure focused startups.

At Twitter, he created their open source program and led their open source efforts. For many years he served on the Eclipse Foundation’s Board of Directors representing the committer community and the Java Community Process (JCP) Executive Committee. In a previous life, he bootstrapped a consulting company, made many mistakes, lead and hacked on many eclipse.org and Linux related projects

Joseph is a Principal Product Manager at Adobe Inc. with the Developer Productivity team for over six years. He leads the development of Adobe’s cloud-native platform, leveraging his decade-long end user expertise in Kubernetes. Currently serving as one of the CNCF End User Technical Advisory Board members, he shares his strategic insights and learnings with the community and project teams. Joseph is also a member of Kubernetes SIG-Release, serving as a Release Manager Associate, contributing to five release teams, and has been an emeritus advisor. Passionate about open-source and its impact on his career, he is dedicated to mentoring those just starting in the field.

Faseela is a cloud-native developer at Ericsson Software Technology, Istio Service Mesh maintainer and a twice-elected member of the Istio Steering Committee, driving its Security, Test and Release, and Documentation functions. She is a CNCF Ambassador, LFX Mentor, contributor to the CNCF “ICA – Istio Certified Associate” examination, and the winner of the prestigious CNCF “Chop Wood Carry Water” award, 2023. She is also the co-author of the CNCF Istio Children’s illustrated book – “Izzy saves the Birthday”. She is one of the organizers of Cloud Native Aachen – the official CNCF Chapter of Aachen, Germany. Faseela is a key member driving the 5G transformation of Ericsson, designing Cloud Native Network Functions and bridging the gap between telco and opensource. Her association with opensource starts with OpenDaylight, one of the Linux Foundation’s earliest collaborative opensource projects, where she has served in the Technical Steering Committee for many years. Early in her career, she has served as a maintainer in the Linux Foundation Infrastructure, enabling the required tooling for several LF projects. She was also actively involved in shaping some of the SDN enabler standards like OpenFlow, and Network Service Header (NSH) in Service Chaining, EVPN and BGP for Telco world. In the recent years, Faseela has served as the event co-chair for both the IstioDays co-located with KubeCon in 2023 and has been a Program Committee member at several KubeCons.

Abby is a Principal Engineer at Syntasso delivering Kratix, an open-source cloud-native framework for building internal platforms on Kubernetes. Her keen interest in supporting internal development comes from over a decade of experience in consulting and product delivery roles across platform, site reliability, and quality engineering.

Abby engages deeply with local communities through facilitating meetups and supporting local school programs, and global communities as a CNCF Ambassador, a Team Topologies Advocate, and co-lead of the CNCF Platforms Working Group.

Adolfo García Veytia (@puerco) is the founder of Carabiner Systems. He is one of the Kubernetes SIG Release Technical Leads, actively working on the Release Engineering team. He specializes in improving the software that drives the K8s release process. He is also the creator of the OpenVEX and protobom projects currently incubating in the OpenSSF. Adolfo is passionate about coding with friends, helping new contributors, and amplifying the Latinx presence in the Cloud Native community.

Stacey brings extensive experience in open source community building, marketing, and event coordination. With a background spanning projects like Minder, Flux and Flagger, OpenFeature, and Keptn, she has played a key role in fostering engagement and driving adoption across cloud-native and open source security ecosystems.

Yunpeng is the Director of Machine Learning at Niantic (Scopely), where he leads efforts to explore machine learning opportunities and integrate AI technologies into location-based mobile gaming. As a full-stack AI leader, he brings deep expertise across the entire ML lifecycle—from research and modeling to deployment and MLOps—to create innovative, scalable solutions that enhance player experiences.

As a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Niantic (Scopely), Andy builds scalable ML solutions for one of the biggest mobile games (Pokemon GO) to enhance player experiences and drive business impact. He is passionate about connecting data with product strategy to deliver measurable value.

Lionel Jouin is a Software Engineer based in Stockholm, Sweden, and a former Ericsson Engineer. With a strong interest in open-source, cloud-native and networking technologies, he contributes to the evolution of Kubernetes with a focus on bringing native support in Kubernetes for secondary networks and its ecosystem, including Services, Network Policies, and declarative networking. As an active CNI maintainer, he is currently focused on developing the CNI-DRA-Driver. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Science from Uppsala University.

Antonio Ojea is a Software Engineer at Google, where he works on Kubernetes. He is one of the top contributors of the Kubernetes project, Tech Lead in Kubernetes SIG Network & Testing with a proven track record in leading technical initiatives to enhance Kubernetes networking stability and performance. Enthusiastic advocate for strong testing practices within open-source communities.

As a Principal Engineer at Amazon, focus on proactive & reactive scaling, capacity planning and cost controllership. Previously, maintainer at Dapr, Head of Engineering at Diagrid, Principal Engineering Manager at Microsoft, Manager at Expedia and Software Engineer at Amazon.

Dr. Chunpeng Wang is a Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, where he has spent the past 6 years developing forecasting algorithms for system load prediction and capacity planning. His work has been instrumental in securing website availability and optimizing infrastructure performance at Amazon’s scale for Amazon’s retail events like PrimeDay.

Roberto Machorro has been a dedicated member of Child Rescue Coalition since its inception and brings nearly 30 years of experience as a professional software developer. A passionate advocate for open source software, Roberto is a longtime user, contributor, and evangelist who believes in the power of technology to create a better future for humanity.

Omar Mohsine is a member of the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy on Technology. He additionally leads the open source team within the UN Office of Information and Communication Technologies and serves as the co-chair of the UN Open Source Community of Practice. In this role, Omar is the primary organizer of the annual “OSPOs for Good” conference held at UN headquarters.

With over 15 years of experience working in various capacities across different continents, Omar has spearheaded numerous projects for the UN, focusing on public-private partnerships and innovation management. He has also designed UN open source competitions aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Omar is deeply committed to building new partnerships with technology stakeholders to support the United Nations’ mandate.

Bodhish is a Senior Fullstack Engineer, startup founder, and a speaker who leads the Digital Public Goods (DPG) team at Pupilfirst. As the creator of Open Healthcare Network (OHC), he architected tools that power critical care infrastructure across multiple Indian states. Founded during the pandemic, OHC has evolved into a thriving community-driven project. His portfolio of open-source innovations includes Care, MediSpeak, MyTemplate, and AfterFlood, alongside his significant contributions to Pupilfirst LMS. Bodhish’s contributions extend beyond engineering, as he has been at the forefront of integrating AI to solve complex challenges in healthcare and education. As one of the first recipients of GitHub’s Open Source Grants from India, he has demonstrated a unique ability to build and nurture communities that scale impactful initiatives like OHC. His work not only transforms critical care infrastructure but also inspires and empowers developers to contribute to open-source solutions that address real-world problems. With a vision for systemic change, Bodhish continues to showcase how technology can be a powerful catalyst for societal transformation.

Jeremy Rickard is a principal software engineer at Microsoft, where he works on supply chain security projects in the Azure Container Upstream team. He is also a chair for SIG Release, a co-chair for the Long Term Support (LTS) working group, and was the release lead for Kubernetes 1.20. He previously worked on Kubernetes platforms at Apple and VMware.

Chief Architect at Akamai. Member of the CNCF Technical Oversight Committee. Previously a founder and CTO of Ondat (formerly StorageOS), building software defined solutions for cloud native environments, and a co-chair of the CNCF Storage TAG. Before embarking on the startup adventure he spent over 25 years engineering infrastructure platforms for companies like Nomura and Goldman Sachs.

Jayson leads platform engineering initiatives at the American Red Cross, providing cloud-native service enablement in support of our mission. A longtime advocate for open source and its adoption in the enterprise, believes in technology’s power to help humanity do better things – a belief put into practice while coordinating relief efforts during Hurricane Helene disaster in Western NC.

Idit Levine is the founder and CEO of Solo.io, a company that creates open-source tools to assist enterprises in adopting and extending innovative cloud-native technologies while modernizing their existing IT investments. Solo.io is a top contributor to CNCF projects such as Envoy Proxy, Istio Service Mesh, and Cilium CNI. Their portfolio of open-source products includes Gloo Gateway, an Envoy-based gateway, and Gloo Mesh, an Istio distribution for service mesh.

Keith Babo is the Chief Product Officer at Solo.io, where he leads product strategy and execution, enabling enterprises to build and scale the next generation of cloud-native and agentic infrastructure for AI-driven applications. Prior to Solo.io, Keith held leadership roles in product management and engineering at Red Hat, Sun Microsystems, and Intel Corporation.

Jago Macleod is an Engineering Director at Google, where he leads much of the Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) team, which gives him the opportunity to work with some of Google Cloud’s largest customers. Prior to working at Google, Jago helped make the smart homes that may eventually turn against us at Nest; and before that, he made some of the games that will distract us along the way as VP of Engineering at Disney Interactive Games.

Jorge is the Principal PM Lead for AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), a fully managed Kubernetes platform on Azure where he has served thousands of customers as a Product Manager since its early days. Formerly he was the Technical Lead for App Dev and DevOps with the Azure Global Black Belt team and has implemented and architected solutions in Azure since 2012, spanning across different roles from Services, Tech Evangelism and Tech Sales. He holds a MSc in Computer Engineering and has a mix of Dev and Ops background having worked as a full-stack developer before moving to a system administrator and later to a DevOps engineer role prior to joining Microsoft. He has founded two startups with successful exit throughout his career and has a passion for helping organizations and individuals grow and succeed leveraging the cloud and kubernetes.

Frank Mancina serves as Vice President of Engineering and Operations at HAProxy Technologies, where he leads the development of world-class application delivery solutions. With over 20 years of experience in technology leadership, he has built a distinguished track record of scaling high-performing engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade solutions across diverse senior leadership roles.

His expertise uniquely combines deep architectural knowledge—developed during nearly a decade as a software architect—with strategic vision for leveraging modern technologies including cloud-native architectures. Throughout his career, Frank Mancina has specialized in scaling infrastructure and building robust, high-availability systems that power mission-critical applications in containerized and cloud environments.

His leadership approach focuses on fostering innovation while maintaining operational excellence, enabling organizations to deliver reliable solutions at scale.

Aanand Krishnan is Vice President of Products at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure where he sets the vision, strategy and execution for IaaS and PaaS services. Prior to Oracle, Aanand was the CEO and founder of Tala Security, acquired by Intuit. He has over 20 years of experience delivering market-leading products at Symantec, Dolby Labs and Avago (Broadcom). As an investment banker for Morgan Stanley, he advised leading semiconductor, software and clean-tech companies on a variety of M&A and financing transactions. Aanand holds an MBA from Berkeley, where he was a recipient of the CJ White Fellowship, and a Masters in Photonics and Optoelectronics from UC Santa Barbara, where he was a QUEST Fellow. He has a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with honors from BITS, Pilani.

Yuan is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat AI. He holds leadership positions in open source communities, including Argo, Kubeflow, KServe, Kubernetes, and CNCF. He’s also a maintainer and author of many popular open source projects. In addition, Yuan authored three technical books as well as numerous papers and patents. He’s a frequent conference speaker, technical advisor, leader, and mentor at various organizations.

Anjali Telang is a Principal Product Manager for OpenShift Security and Identity at Red Hat, with 16+ years of experience in security and cloud. A passionate advocate for open source projects such as SPIFFE/SPIRE, cert-manager, External Secrets Operator, Secret Store CSI Driver, she focuses on bringing cutting-edge technologies to enterprise customers. Before Red Hat, she held product and engineering leadership roles at VMware and NetApp. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, cooking, and meditation.
