Diamond Sponsorship Lottery: How It Works

There are nine (9) Diamond sponsorships available, which will be awarded through a random lottery.

To enter the lottery, request a Diamond sponsorship contract by emailing [email protected]. Your signed contract must be received by Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM PDT to be eligible.

The lottery drawing will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026. Entries will be prioritized in the following order:

• CNCF Platinum Members
• CNCF Gold Members
• All other organizations

If your organization is not selected in the Diamond lottery, your contract will automatically convert to a Platinum sponsorship. Please note that upon signing the Diamond sponsorship contract you will be invoiced for a Platinum sponsorship. If you are chosen for the Diamond Lottery on October 2, 2026 the remaining amount will automatically be invoiced.
