We believe everyone will find value in joining us for the high-quality content that is expected from a KubeCon + CloudNativeCon event. Our open source communities inspire us to be resilient – to adapt and thrive with speed and consideration, immersed in the goal of bringing together a distributed group of people from around the globe. It’s in the DNA of the open source community to connect, learn and collaborate, therefore, what better place to do so than one of the premier open source developer conferences in the world?

Where is the event taking place? What is the time zone for the event?

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon North Europe 2026 will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, at the RAI Amsterdam. To see the schedule in your preferred time zone, select the time zone from the drop-down menu to the right, above “Filter by Date.”

Will you have vegan / gluten-free / dairy-free / Kosher / Halal, etc. meals available onsite?

We account for a portion of attendees that need vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free meals – these are typically readily available at all snack breaks, lunches, and receptions. No special order is required and you can indicate your preference/need during registration.

For those that need a special order meal such as Kosher or Halal, we do ask that you contact us so that we may place these orders in advance of the event. Most catering companies are unable to prepare/order these types of meals on the day they are needed as they are made in offsite kitchens.

Note that we are also a peanut-free event. If you have another severe food allergy, please contact us. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your need(s).

Will the event include captioning?

Yes! Captioning will be available for keynotes and breakout sessions.

Will all sessions be recorded?

Yes! All sessions will be uploaded to the CNCF YouTube channel within 48-72 hours of the event so they are accessible to anyone, anywhere.

How can I communicate with other attendees?

For networking, attendees can engage through the #hallway channel on Slack, which serves as a general attendee chat platform. You can join the CNCF Slack workspace using the following link: CNCF Slack Workspace.

Do you have any volunteer opportunities available?

Thank you for your interest in attending and volunteering at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon. We do not have any volunteer positions available, however, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship. Anyone may apply for the registration scholarship and/or travel funding. In addition, we offer an academic rate for current full-time students and faculty/staff members.

Can I bring my child with me to my session?

KubeCon + CloudNativeCon is a professional conference. If you’d like to bring your child to a session or two for a special reason (e.g. family/friend is speaking, interest in the subject) we will allow an exception but we ask for respect of the other attendees and their onsite experience. If needed, we do offer onsite child care. Please note that you must sign your child up in advance and sign-ups do close approximately one month in advance of the event.

Registration + Passes

What is the cost for the event and how do I register?

There are registration options fit for all!

There are two ticket-type options – All-Access which includes CNCF-hosted co-located events on Monday, 23 March, and KubeCon + CloudNativeCon ONLY – as well as early bird, standard, and late pricing tiers for each.

What is the difference between the All-Access pass and the KubeCon + CloudNativeCon ONLY pass?

The All-Access pass type includes access to all CNCF-hosted co-located events taking place on Monday, 23 March, as well as the full three days of the main event, including keynotes, breakouts, and the Solutions Showcase.. There is no need to register for or select a specific co-located event in advance.

The KubeCon + CloudNativeCon ONLY ticket type gives access to the full three days of the event, including keynotes, breakouts, and the Solutions Showcase. This ticket type does NOT allow for access to the CNCF-hosted co-located events but does include access to Project Lightning Talks on Monday, 23 March.

What is the difference between the Corporate / Individual / Academic pass types?

The “corporate” registration type is for attendees whose company is paying for attendance to KubeCon + CloudNativeCon. This includes for-profit companies and government employees. You will help keep the conference affordable for everyone, especially students and those needing financial aid.

The “individual” registration type is solely for registrants who are currently not working for a company, work for a non-profit, or are attending in person at their own expense (i.e. not funded by a company). You will receive confirmation within five business days of registering if your Individual registration is approved or needs additional information.

The “academic” registration type is for current full-time students and faculty/staff members. Full-time faculty/staff and students will need to upload a valid copy of their Faculty or Student ID when registering.

Learn more about the available registration types.

Why is my Individual Registration “pending”?

All Individual Registrations go through a review process to confirm eligibility. This process typically takes 5–7 business days from the time you register. If additional details are needed, you will receive an email requesting more information or confirmation of your eligibility. Please respond promptly to these requests, as delays in your response will extend the review timeline.

I am a full-time student but don’t have a student ID. How can I register for the Academic pass type?

To verify student status for academic registration, we accept any official document that confirms full-time enrollment at a university. This can include:

  • A current and valid student ID card (if available)
  • An admissions letter or proof of enrollment from the university
  • Any other official document issued by the institution that confirms full-time student status.

If I purchased one type of event pass, can I change to another type?

Yes, you can change your pass type up to the first day of the event. Simply sign into your registration using your confirmation number and “unregister” as that pass type. Then re-register for the pass you would like and make your payment. You can find your confirmation number in your confirmation email or by clicking on the Cvent login page requesting to have your confirmation number emailed to you.

Are co-located events included in the price of my registration?

The All-Access pass type includes access to all CNCF-hosted co-located events on Monday, 23 March.

With an All-Access pass you can attend any CNCF-hosted co-located event of your choice when you are onsite on Monday, 23 March. If you are registered for a KubeCon + CloudNativeCon ONLY pass, you can sign into your registration using your confirmation number to change pass types. You can find your confirmation number in your confirmation email or by clicking on the Cvent login page requesting to have your confirmation number emailed to you.

Are Day Passes available?

At this time, we do not offer a Day Pass option.

Are Guest Passes available?

At this time, we are unable to offer guest passes or visitor passes for access to the event. Due to our security and access policies, all attendees must be registered and obtain a conference badge to enter any part of the conference venue.

Registration Changes, Payments + Refunds

I need to cancel my registration. Can I get a refund?

Refunds will only be issued for cancellations received by 9 March 2026, two weeks prior to the main event start date (including bulk ticket invoice requests, co-located events, and add-ons), and will appear as a credit on the card’s statement 7-10 business days after cancellation. Refunds can only be issued on the car the original payment was made.

Please note that all refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.

If I cannot attend the event, can I substitute someone from my company to attend in my place?

Yes, you can transfer your pass to another person at your company if you are unable to attend. If you need to modify, substitute, or cancel your registration, sign into your registration using your confirmation number. You can find your confirmation number in your confirmation email or by clicking on the Cvent login page requesting to have your confirmation number emailed to you.

Where can I find my invoice? Where do I get a group invoice?

The invoice download link is located under the Payment Receipt Information section of your registration confirmation email.

Should you need a group registration invoice receipt, please submit a request.

Registration Documentation + Assistance

Can CNCF send me an invitation letter for the conference as proof for my visa?

We do offer visa invitation letters to attendees that are registered to attend an event. Provision of a visa letter by The Linux Foundation does not guarantee visa approval, which is made at the sole discretion of the government of the event’s host country. We suggest reaching out to your local embassy or consulate to see if there is enough time to receive a visa letter before the event.

How can I show that I attended the event?

A Certificate of Attendance can be downloaded directly from your LFX dashboard by navigating to the “Past Events” section in the LF Events column. Please note that we verify attendance through the registration system, and certificates will only be available for download after the event is completed.

I’d like to attend the event but can’t afford it. Do you offer any assistance?

Yes! The Cloud Native Computing Foundation is proud to offer registration scholarships and travel funding.
